Summary
Sakura Haruno has spent the last decade refusing to accept the limits of modern medicine.
Her latest invention might be her greatest breakthrough yet: a pair of experimental bracelets designed to temporarily synchronize two chakra networks, allowing one shinobi to keep another alive through catastrophic injury.
There's just one problem.
They don't fucking work.
Until a mission goes wrong, Sakura is dying, and Kakashi ignores every warning she gives him and activates the prototype anyway.
For the first time, the bracelets work perfectly.
Sakura survives. The bracelets come off. They return to Konoha.
And then Sakura starts feeling things that aren't hers.
Pain. Exhaustion. Fear. A racing heart. Attraction.
Kakashi, unfortunately, is experiencing the exact same thing.
Somehow, their chakra never disconnected.
Now Sakura has to figure out why their networks chose each other, how the hell to separate them, and whether the feelings growing between them are actually theirs.
Preferably before someone realizes her greatest medical breakthrough could be used for something far more dangerous than saving lives.
