Work Text:
In a kingdom known for its blues
Liv’d a princess, my future mistress
With ringlets the color of sunset hues
Her bullion eyes thinly veiling cleverness
With dozens of freckles coating her face
If She is the sun, then I shall be her moon
Like the sun patches, pigment like lace, She sports with grace
Scattered all over her skin mainly seen on her face lightening my mood
She continues to brighten our peoples days returning to my side at noon so we then pace
Journeying to our garden and gaze upon the stars unable to brood
While we stargaze her pinky finger locks onto mine I can’t help but swoon where lie
And sneakily gaze into her eyes as she names the stars in the night sky
With her love getting my heart in a tie
And her humorous jests making me cry
With each constellation named I lean in to plant a kiss on her lips
I can’t help but close my eyes letting myself slip
