Mr. Potter was Mr. Dursley’s cousin, though they only spoke on odd occasions and times of great need. He was a serious, tall man with dark hair and an ever present pair of glasses, and he worked for the ministry in some manner of law enforcement. For all that, he was the most boring individual Penelope had ever met, excepting, perhaps, his taciturn wife.”
Penelope Dursley is a perfectly normal modern woman, thank you very much, who fills her days with yoga, blogging, and home ed for her perfect daughter Amelia. Her life changes quite radically when a letter arrives at her house by owl. She’s a bit put out to find that her husband has been keeping magic secret from her, but once that is cleared up there are far more important subjects to consider.
Is a secret boarding school really what is best for dear Amelia, and if it is, how does Penny deal with being an empty nester 8 years early?
