Summary
Ryland Grace died.
He died after failing to turn on the centrifuge in time, and took Rocky with him. He wakes up the morning he is to be approached by Eva Stratt.
Centuries pass. The failure of the Hail Mary has doomed humanity. Simon fails in obtaining the black box and bringing it to safety. He is given a second chance to save things, and is determined to stop the coward of a man named Ryland Grace from sabotaging the mission meant to save humanity.
Rocky wakes up only a couple years before he is to be sent on a mission to Tau Ceti. He is willing to do anything it takes to get back to Grace, even if it means explaining concepts to his team that he has no business knowing about.(minor)Strattland/Bloodymary/Platonic Soulmates Grace&Rocky
