Beacrox does not know what to do. Between the children curled atop and around the unmoving figure, his own father placing tea he himself had made by the bedside table, and the ever-present mutt who'd collared himself to Cale and just never left despite the distinct lack of leash…he has to wonder what space and with what right he is allowed to fill.
Cale thinks nothing of how he spends his time. More importantly, he is unaware of how it looks like to people.
They worry.
