Summary
He’s a Watch Commander in the LAPD. He faces gunfire and violent criminals on a weekly basis. Tim knows how to handle stressful situations, and he’s completely relaxed right now, even if he’s eyeing a sheet-pan of fish fillets like he’s figuring out which wire to cut on an explosive device.
“Should I have made them smaller?” he asks Lucy, hearing her footsteps come up behind him.
She just laughs, which Tim takes as a yes. Great.
He huffs out a ragged exhale. “Okay. I can fix it, it’s—”
“Tim. They look perfect,” Lucy interjects, giggling as she places a hand on his arm. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this nervous.”
