Summary
There's a new bunny in the circus. Unfortunately, no one is handling this well, least of all the bunny herself. When everyone justifiably is wary of the version of you that technically you never were, the whole 'adjusting to being a digital copy of yourself in technicolor purgatory' gets kinda difficult.

Updates whenever. Exploring multichap (because this is getting WAY too long). Please know that this IS a series, and you DO need to read the first fic to get this one.
I can’t believe I have to say this, but, if you want to start some fucking Jax-related discourse or spout transphobic rhetoric, I’m just deleting your comment. If you go to my tumblr to do so, I am just blocking you. Don’t.
My comment (as out, and read 2/6?)
Oh, I loved this. Sorry if this comment seems a little lesser, I had a whole one written out, but lost it, so may not be same, trying to remember the ideas though will not be clean as it was.
Bunny. Really interesting and painful thinking in here, and how she's stuck. Just the way. Identity, and knowledge of self and people stuck there. So much time, she finally is out, and made friends. Now you're in this circus? And all of your friends are there, but they're not. They met and grew together with so many experiences without you a completely different person from different time, you're coming into it as an outsider, except no. You were there, but the "you" was the past, a version of yourself that you don't even want to acknowledge anymore, a "you" that has clearly done something. They all know and seem scared, a "you" that you can't imagine, and has already done such harm to everyone, and is somehow still here, but not?
You mentioned in a comment of part one how Jax isn't coming back from abstracting, and oh how haunting the narrative while technically not dead Jax certainly is.. We saw how the harm was done to everyone, and is affecting everyone, they all know what was done, but nobody is saying it, and ough. The self that Bunny can't bear to imagine, and hates thinking of, yet these people have been bearing with that version, the one that caused such an effect on everyone that she feels she's already ruined everything, and can't bear.
Really interesting looking Caine, and the thought within it. How it's kinda fresh for both It and Bunny together. The way where both of them have, and acknowledge past as "a whole thing", but are also kinda a fresh start for both. Caine as the only one that She doesn't have any experience with so not getting caught in how different, while he was initally introduced to Bunny still main face of the circus you could say, but not the overlord in a way where it could get its first friend, and the two together was honestly really nice. The focus for intent shown was also great, and the little bit of extra intrigue for how Bunny wouldn't know and assumed it was just programmed to be nice, while ending up the best to click in a way that hits really nice for me with the bit in the finale for the way the moon says she still loves Caine, and it says that it never programmed her to say that.
Kinger. Interesting to see, and probably the obvious option from the meta prospective of him typically being one of the more emotionally mature ones through the show, with the given reasons also being, how Bunny doesn't want to risk, the person that she knows the least IRL so isn't loosing as much if she ruins it like she thinks everything. How while learning the piano again with Grant that she has the lowest hope, a cis guy she expects the worst from as the least wrong option. It was a really nice and interesting thing to see, with the way the two of them interact, and acknowledge some of the differences between in and out of the circus to grow people.
Really liked. It all, and excited to see more. Bunny really just can never get a break can she? The way she has to be all up upon herself, the constant focus on her walk, stance, and expression. She has to be normal, and the detail of crying while upset? (And all of the pain that comes, with that while it goes to assumptions of others, something that is already a great hit she has to deal with in here now)
I mean, this was all awesome in a way that I love to see, and don't worry about time, always best to go with flow and confidence.
