    Title: Whispered in Secret
    Author: GoodGirlLuna
    Author's Summary:

Hush had only ever told one person their secret, someone who was now dead. After keeping quiet about it for so long, he decided it was time his girlfriend knew.

Author's note (post) :Figured it was about time I wrote another fic for the series I wrote my first fic about. I also wanted to try writing something with more of a focus on emotions, at least in comparison to most of what I've previously written.

    Hope you enjoyed this fic!

    My comment:

This was a really nice one. I don't know what to say, but while it was obviously eating at whisper, and not the calmest for her, this fic felt good? Like not questionably good, but like not on edge, at peace in a way I don't normally feel with coming out fics, even if it's one where the person is expected to be good about it like Tangle.

And with names? Hush is such an interesting choice. I mean, with the sonic universe you can kind of do anything, but I really like this, and almost a bit of change too. From mercenary and almost a harsh reminder to all around, versus now a similar quiet, but a bit more fitting as a self, and softer similarly able to ask someone to Whisper less like a command. May just be digging on a man-made beach here, but eh.

Always like to try and take note and look for intention for if/when pronouns swap in these sorts of fics, and it's a pretty clear and nice one for this. I really found it interesting with the knowledge of self but not reader nessecarily without tags for coming out to Slinger, but not a single pronoun in reference to Whisper directly until after the incident clearly as "she became a warrior) in the post. Bit to see and acknowledge since there. And little bit suprised to see but not think on. May be linguistic and experience difference, but a guardian angel of the battlefield and in my experience guardian angels typically being a feminine figure, though she wasn't out to the world yet.

Really liked it, sweet and enjoyable to read through.
