“Yes?” He called, voice even. Abolish sheathed his knife, tucking it away as he stood, memorising the notes he’d written before tossing them in the fire. No evidence.
“Abolish?” Ah, the doctor. “I was just coming around doing house calls. With all the fighting recently, I’ve decided to make sure everyone had enough food and that nobody was in need of care.”
Abolish sighed. “Come in.”
