He’s been training for four hours by now. It’s the only thing , that can calm him down really, even if it made his whole body hurt like hell. But while doing literally anything else, he felt like his every move was watched and judged. He couldn’t eat, shower or even sleep, without feeling uneasy.
All of his friends tell him he’s gone crazy. That he’s imagining things or rather people. When he told them who he thinks is observing him, they thought about moving him to a psychiatric hospital. Nya and Kai were especially concerned about Lloyd. They tried to talk to him about it and persuade him into getting therapy. Lloyd didn’t agree, he will never agree. The great green ninja can’t do therapy. What would people think? They would be concerned that their savior is mentally ill. They would see him as pathetic and Lloyd did not want that.
So of course he had to lie. He told his friends that he stopped feeling Morro’s presence just like that. Stupidly enough, they believed him and never brought it up again.
Lloyd could still feel Morro’s presence though. It was exhausting and really uncomfortable. The worst thing about this situation is the fact that Morro had never revealed himself to Lloyd. He just watched. He didn’t say a word. And Lloyd was sick of that. Tonight was the night when he will finally talk to Morro and try to catch him somehow. He know it’s him, it gotta be him. The green aura and wind told him everything he needs to know.
His plan was to simply go outside and meditate. It’s going to be enough to get wind ninja’s attention. When he finally gets the attention and Morro will hide somewhere to watch him, he’s going to scream his name and tell him to reveal himself otherwise he’s a coward. He knows calling Morro that will upset him and make him angry. He will show himself and attack the green ninja for sure. Lloyd will defeat him and find out why Morro is stalking him. Simple as that.
A few hours later, the night has came. Everyone but Lloyd has fallen asleep , and he was ready to execute the plan.
He came outside, and started to meditate. It only took a few second for Morro to appear. Huh, he really is obsessed with him.
Lloyd slowly stood up and spoke firmly
,, I know you are here Morro. Reveal yourself so we can get this over with. Unless you are too much of a coward.’’
A minute or two passed without any sign from Morro. Lloyd was starting to grow impatient.
,, Come on, just show yourself. We don’t have to fight, I just want to know why are you watching me for weeks now.’’
Finally, a strong blow of wind appeared, caused by no other than Morro. Then Lloyd saw him. For the first time since the possession . He didn’t change like at all. His hair was as black as night, his eyes were still dark green and he wore the same outfit as before.
,, Well, well. You finally decided to speak, huh? Tired already from doing a show for me?’’ Morro spoke sarcastically, smirking
,, Morro. Now that you revealed yourself, could you tell me why have you stalking me? For weeks.’’
,, I can’t just tell you that, it would ruin all the fun. How about a little fight? If you win, I will tell you everything you want to know.’’
,,And If I lose?’’
,,If you lose, you are going to do me a favor’’
,, Favor? What favor?’’
,, You’ll see’’
,, No, no, no! I know you Morro, and if you don’t tell me what favour do you have in mind, then this fight won’t be happening’’
,, Whoa, whoa. You lack so much confidence. You don’t have to know what my favor is, because you are not going to lose right? You’re the green ninja, after all.’’
,,And you are a ninja who breaks rules and does everything to win so no, I’m not so confident about winning.’’
,, Well, I won’t tell you the thing I want so I guess the fight isn’t happening. Such a shame. You will never catch me again, and I still will be watching you. Do you really want to lose the only chance to find out what I want from you?’’
Lloyd didnt have to even think about the offer. He had to know what is Morro’s deal.
,, Fine. The person who stays on he ground for 10 seconds and more is the loser. And no powers involved.’’
,,Excellent. Shall we begin?’’
As soon as Morro finished talking, Lloyd started to attack him. Not too aggressively, but still strongly enough to make sure he wins.
Morro on the other hand, did nothing but defend himself. He knew Lloyd would lose his patience soon, and attack him recklessly. To fasten this, he decided to provoke the green ninja.
,,Surely you can do better than that. Your moves are sloppy and predictable. I thought you had gotten better over the years but still you fight decently at best.’’
,, Stop talking already! We were supposed to fight not chat.’’
,,You never said anuthing about fightinh in silence. If you are bothered by me talking then its your problem. Besides, how come the chosen one is so distracted by his opponent speaking?’’
,,I’m not distracted, I just think a conversation is unneccesery in this situation.’’
,,Then stop responding. God and here I thought that since you are ,,master Lloyd’’ now, that you are wiser than before. Again I was mistaken.’’
With that comment, Lloyd jumped on Morro, slowly losing control over his actions. The ghost smiled, knowing that his plan has succeced.
They fought for a few more minutes after Morro decided he has had enough. He did spinjitzu and made Lloyd fall on the ground. The green ninja was too shocked and sore from the impact, so he didnt stand up, making Morro the winner.
The wind ninja slowly walked up to Lloyd, ready to throw his victory in green ninja’sface.
,,Well, well. I guess, you wont have what you wanted after all. Thats too bad.’’
,,Stop acting like you care. You cheated. I should have known from the start that you’re not going to play fair’’
,,And how did I cheat exactly?’’
,,You used spinjitzu! Thats how!’’
,,Spinjitzu doesnt count as using your elemental powers. Its a technique, Lloyd’’
,,You still shouldnt have used it!’’
,,Why is that? Just accept that you lost to me. Again.’’
Lloyd scoffed
,,Anyway, lets focus on the favor you owe me. Its a very simple and harmless one. I promise’’
,,First of all, I do not Trust you and your promises mean nothing to me. Just tell me what do you want and get this over with.’’
,,Whoa, whoa. Why so impatient? I never said about doing anuthing tonight. I could torture you and make you wait. But I wont do that, if you apologize to me and congratulate me properly.’’
Lloyd was too stunned to speak. Did Morro really except him to apologize when the only thing he said was that he doesnt trust him? But Lloyd did want to get this over with already. The sooner he fulfills Morro’s wish the sooner he will be free of him. And he didnt have to mean the apology and congratulations.
,, Alright. Morro, I apologize for what I said earlier. You defeated me, and I should accept it.’’
,,Thats more like it. Now lets focus on service you’re going to do. I want to live here. In the monanstery.’’
,,What? Thats it?’’
,,Yes. I told you its harmless and easy. All I want is a bed to sleep in and food to eat. I wont bother you or your precious friends but you cant tell them about me.’’
,, They will notice that the guest room is taken though.’’
,,Thats why I’ll be staying in your room. I’m even happy to sleep on some old matress you got.’’
Morro continued
,, I thought everything through. I will train outside, eat and sleep in your room, do laundry or shower while all of you train. And dont worry, I wont be staying forever. Just until I find a job and make some money.’’
,,Well, that surprisingly sounds alright.’’
,,So, do we have a deal?’’ Morro asked
,,Yes, we do.’’ Lloyd said, while shaking Morro’s hand
,, So I guess we should go inside, roomate’’
,,Follow me’’ Lloyd sighed
