Chapter Text
'So? What is it that is so urgent that you have to wake me up during my beauty sleep, hm?' Leonid sipped his coffee before placing it down, and teasingly stared at Dmitri
'It's ten.' Dmitri glared at him back, clearly not enjoying his gaze.
'Awh, you wound me with your nonchalance. You aren't like this with Tsar, are ya?' The man grinned, obviously amused by the expression Dmitri had on his face.
'Well, you creep me out. Let's just get to business.' He rolled his eyes, before setting his gaze and intentions clear.
'Ohoho? Straight forward aren't we?' Leonid smirked 'So, who is this person I get the pleasure of witnessing them drop dead?'
'Vladimir. The new heir of Lomonosov.' Dmitri muttered, his gaze was persistent, with pure hatred fuming from his tense body language.
'Eh? That kid? Didn't he just become the heir for Lomonosov.' Leonid was quite taken aback, as he hadn't expect the man in front of him to have a grudge against a newbie child.
'He's been pissing me off quite lately...' The chocolate man (I'm so sorry if any of you are offended by this) scowled back into his seat
Just then, Leonid's phone rang, shocking both him and his potential client.
'Ah, it's time for my appearance at another location, well- My Gmail is [email protected]. 5% discount on your first request! •ᴗ•' Just like that he swiftly grabbed his coat hung behind Dmitri, and slyly touched the back of the seated man neck- then proceed to go out of sight.
'Wait we weren't-' Leonid waved goodbye from the glass door, and made his way further away from the coffee shop they were at.
'The audacity of this man...' Dmitri gritted his teeth into a smile as he called the waitress for the check, though his head was whirling from the contact earlier.
'That would be 15010 rubles sir (approximately 148 pounds)' The waitress handed him the bill
'I only had a glass of water tho- oh.' He went silent as he saw that Leonid had ordered a cup of Geisha.
He reluctantly paid the bill, then dragging himself out of the coffee embassy. He knew Leonid was no ordinary person, and that he had expensive taste, yet ordering 15 thousand rubles worth of coffee was killing him, considering it was their first time meeting professionally. 'God... he pisses me off' Dmitri sighed before getting into the ride he had contacted a few minutes ago.
As he opened the car door, he spotted Caesar and Leewon in the backseat bickering per usual.
He was already in a bad mood, yet he didn't have the heart to ignore Caesar. He buckled on his seatbelt, then turned to the back with a smile plastered on his face.
'Caesar! Where are you headed to with the lawyer?' His snaggled tooth stuck out as he 'joyfully' mentioned his interest for the Tsar.
'Leewon is meeting up with his freinds' Caesar turned to Leewon placing his head on the other shoulder making the other jump out of surpirse.
'I see...' Dmitri had no energy to mock Leewon, since he had all his energy consumed already dealing with the sniper.
'Weird... He isn't saying anything today.' Leewon thought to himself analyzing Dmitri's expression through the rearview mirror.
The lawyer sighed, he knew the man in the passenger seat wasn't being himself today, however what he was going to say was also out of the blue.
'Uhm... would you want to go have a drink with us too then...?' He gulped and stared at the two man in front and beside him being in disbelief.
'Not like, I'm personally inviting YOU out, but you seem, uhm. A bit down today, so I thought you would like-'
'Fine. no need to explain.' Dmitri sank into his seat, pulling his mobile out.
Caesar on the other hand was utterly confused. His partner and cousin had never gotten along, now they're agreeing for drinks knowing that both of them would be there? He didn't know whether to be happy or unsettled.
'You guys are not sleeping together... right?'
'WHAT.' The collective 'what' didn't quite put Caesar at ease, but he let it out of his grip, for now.
