“What? Are you sure you want to do this?”
“I proposed the idea, didn’t I.” Comes the sarcastic reply.
“Yes, you did. Okay, if, you are absolutely sure?” Enid asks for the last time.
“I am.”
“Well, then are we doing this like last time, hand holding and a few pet names? Or is there a specific way we must act in front of your parents?”
The psychic considers the question for a while.
“I think our performance last time was adequate. It will have to be enough to fool my parents.”
