Origin of Love [nsfw art]

Summary:

Transgender AU
Each of the beginning chapters will focus on one character with a drawing in traditional pen and colored pencil along with an accompanying poem.
This covers the koi and lotus spirit transformations from spirit to flesh. And the dragon spirit being cultivated from human form. They each have their own unique feelings about gender.
There will be future chapters of them all together as well.
Podfic welcome.

Chapter Text

When A-Han was born
It was like the whole earth sighed
The wind carried a scent of flowers
Over velvet green hills
The sun sank low, blushing at the sight of her
Bathed in golden light
A beauty reclining in the magic hour
Red silk laced through limbs
Licking every inch of tan skin like fire
A tinkling sound like laughter
Played upon the air
Golden bells jostled
Strung about her ankle
As she slid into being
A smile laid upon her perfect face
She dreams of love, of warmth
Softness and gentle touches
She yearns as flesh takes form
Unraveling herself into shape
She chose to embrace both sexes
For she would deny herself nothing
In this new life
She is eager to experience
She shifts and feels her body settle
It is warm and soft, and nestled deep inside
Her soul, glowing happily
Sings and shivers in delight
When she wakes, she breathes
Taking in everything all at once
Opening her lungs, her eyes, her mouth
Her fingers, her legs, her toes
She hears leaves rustling above her
A willow drapes itself over her protectively
Sunlight gleams through the vibrant bows
Trailing kisses upon her quivering lashes
She feels the pond water
Lapping at her feet
As she stretches languidly
Knocking rocks from the bank
The familiar urge to slither
Through the lotus stems
Calls back to her distantly
She'll have time enough to swim again later
She is alive!
And she will live to the fullest of desire
So she stands and watches
As her other half
Emerges from the depths
Wet and naked
Glistening and beaming
Their eyes meet
And they immediately know each other
Hearts beating in rapid joy
They reach to grasp hands
And envelop arms
Trembling in excitement
Slipping through laughter so naturally
They cling to one another
Gazing, touching, smiling
Holding on, holding home
In shaky, gasping, bodies
An ancient love is born anew.
