Summary
Verso, a Parisian eccentric painter, arrives to Lumiere, a hidden Alpine village near Durance to heal his melancholia and acedia. He makes acquaintance with Reverend Father Noah, a respected and well-loved by local community priest with mysterious past, and two men form a genuine connection.
But the village is not what it seems, and neither are its residents. On the Night of Blooming Moon Verso gets a taste of something dark and ancient as he participates in an annual fertility ritual under watchful eye of Father Noah.
