"I'm going to debate college kids! I won't be home for dinner!" Charlie yelled from downstairs.
Erika sighed of relief as she put the kai razor back in the drawer. She snapped a photo of her fresh beans cut and uploaded it to Twitter before pulling down her sleeve. At least she doesn't have to purge dinner now that Charlie's gonna be away.
"I should go on a walk.... clear my head." Erika whispered to herself.
Stepping out the front door, she might aswell stop by Starbucks as her 3 day fast is coming to an end. Erika licked her lips as the Starbucks menu consumed her mind, every potential order spinning into an obsessive litany that drowned out everything else - the pain, the guilt, leaving only the comfort of the decision she hadn't even made yet.
As she finally made it to Starbucks, she spotted a familiar car in the parking lot belonging to Charlie. Moving closer, a warm smile forming on her face - a smile that instantly dropped as soon as she saw them. Dean and Charlie. Dean and Charlie making out in the same car SHE bought him. Tears forming in Erika's eyes, the hunger was instantly gone.
"Never eating again." Erika thought to herself as she took a step back before turning back around to go home. Unfortunately for her, she bumped straight into a tall, mysterious figure. The Mint Majesty tea with two honeys he was holding now spilled all over her, seeping into her fresh cuts. He has no idea what he just unleashed.
