Chapter Text
Midoriya's POV:
It was Friday afternoon, and the final bell had just rung, signaling the end of classes. The bustling hallways of U.A. High School were slowly emptying, and the excitement for the weekend was palpable. Todoroki and I had planned a date for today—a movie night at the cinema, something we had both been looking forward to. As I waited in the common area, I couldn't help but smile, reflecting on how much has changed since we started dating. Our classmates had been so supportive and encouraging; their kind words and smiles had made the whole experience even more special.
I was scrolling through my phone, trying to distract myself from the anticipation when I spotted Shoto approaching me. His usual calm demeanor was present, but a subtle warmth in his eyes made my heart flutter. I quickly stood up and approached him, my excitement barely contained.
"Hey, Shoto, are you all set?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.
He looked at me, his lips curving into that familiar small, endearing smile of his. "Yeah, I'm ready, hun," he replied, his voice soft but filled with affection.
A faint blush crept onto my cheeks at the endearing nickname. Shoto wrapped his arm around my shoulders, giving me a gentle kiss on the top of my head before we left the school grounds. As we walked, I received a quick text from my mom: "Have fun, dear!" It made me smile even wider, and I turned to chat with Shoto about the movie and our plans for the evening.
At the Cinema...
The cinema was bustling with people ready to unwind for the weekend. As we entered, Shoto held the door open for me with his characteristic courtesy. We headed straight for the ticket counter, where we debated who would cover the cost. I offered to pay, but Shoto insisted on taking care of it with his father's card.
"Let me handle this," Shoto said with a determined look. "You picked the movie."
It was around 4:30 PM, and with our movie scheduled for 6 PM, we decided to grab a bite to eat before the film. We made our way to the food area, selecting a mix of sweet and salty popcorn, a couple of sodas, and a bottle of water. We found our seats in the theatre, and as we settled in, I leaned in for a quick, tender kiss as the lights began to dim and the movie started.
Time Skip (After the Movie)...
Todoroki's POV:
As the credits rolled and the theatre lights came back on, we made our way out, feeling content and relaxed. Izuku had mentioned he wanted to spend the weekend at his house rather than his dorm, so we headed there together. As soon as we arrived, Izuku's mother greeted us warmly.
"Welcome, Shoto! It's so nice to see you," she said with a motherly smile. "Would you like some tea?"
We all settled at the kitchen table, enjoying a cozy cup of tea as we recounted our evening. Miss Inko, ever the gracious host, soon offered, "Shoto, why don't you stay the night? I don't mind at all."
I glanced at Izuku, who met my gaze with a gentle nod, his eyes reflecting the same warmth. I turned back to Miss Inko and replied, "I'd love to stay if you don't mind."
After some more pleasant conversation and tea, Miss Inko gently reminded us, "It's getting late. Why don't you two head upstairs and get ready for bed?"
Izuku and I went upstairs, where he handed me an extra toothbrush. We both brushed our teeth side by side and since I didn't have pajamas, he lent me an oversized shirt. I slipped into the shirt, which was surprisingly comfortable and fit well.
Midoriya's POV:
After changing, I dashed downstairs to give my mom a quick hug and kiss goodnight. Her warmth and affection made me feel even more at home. I then hurried back upstairs to my room where Shoto was already on the bed, looking relaxed. I jumped in beside him, curling up and snuggling into his arms. His embrace was warm and comforting, and I nestled my head against his chest. Shoto wrapped his arms around me protectively, and as the gentle rhythm of his heartbeat lulled me, we both drifted off to sleep.
Inko's POV:
As I prepared for bed, I made my way upstairs and couldn't help but glance into Izuku's room. The sight of them snuggled up together was so heartwarming—it was one of those moments that made all the little things worthwhile. I quietly took a few discreet photos to remember this sweet moment and then headed back to my room, feeling a sense of contentment and happiness.
