Aerion's arm shot out, wrapping his long fingers around her wrist and pulling her hand towards him, yanking the rest of her with it, she landed into his chest. Elora used her free hand to desperately try to push him off her.
His free hand unwrapped the bandage around her hand. He stared at the long straight slash across her palm. Then he laughed, a harsh cruel sound. He turned his own hand over, palm facing the sky, and held out it out beside hers, the matching wounds touching.
