While sitting in the private plane, Tim realized that the time had come, he then put on his in ear headphones , turned on his computer and connected to the video chat. He had to take a final briefing before his new mission. Even though he has already memorized most of the things he needs to know.
After a few minutes, Bruce appeared on the screen. He was in his Batman costume in Batcave but he wasn't wearing his cowl. Tim look at his guardians blue eyes. Silently waiting for the brieft to start. A few seconds after that Batman start to talking " Okay Robin. Let's start " A slide with the pictures to be used for the brieft opened corner of the screen . On the first slide, there was a table summarizing Japan's gene pool. " Eighty percent of the humans of Japan are genetically different from normal humans. This genetic difference cause then to have abilities that they call 'Quirks'. Remember, they are not meta humans. People have quirks called 'Quirk users' people who don't have called 'Quirkles' " Tim nodded to what he heard
" Copy that... So since I don’t have a Quirk or any ability/power/meta human gene, This will inevitably cause me to attract unwanted attention " Tim said, while looking at side that show Japan's gene pool. Batman nodded slowly " Yes. So don't forget to keep a low profile, Robin. Japanese society isn't remarkably fond of the 'normal'. We don't want to attract unwanted attention. Also, as Robin, you can't do anything for a while. Japan's U.S. embassy still hasn't approved your permission "
Tim sighed. He leaned back in his seat, his shoulders slightly dropped " I know B... I know " He smiled softly. Then stretched out his arms and flexed his fingers " Soo... He will take me from Airport as we agreed in advance, right ? " He ask innocently. Bruce couldn't help but snorted " Yeah... Yeah. Be carefull with him Robin. He may be know your secret identity but your identity must be stay secret from others " Tim grinned, he know even Bruce didn't show he kind of jelous that Tim close a another man, he care. " ...Don't worry B. I make sure no one will learn I'm Robin " Bruce sighed but he give Tim a soft, litte smile again. " I expect nothing less from you Robin "
Tim nodded and closed the briefing chat. Tim leaned back. He touched his smart briefing. On the holographic screen that appeared before him, he reviewed the application forms of students applying for the UA exam for one last time. The entrance exam was just three days away.
As the plane landed, Tim unbuckled his seatbelt and took a deep breath. Then he gathered his bag. Then their personal host brought his suitcase for him. "I hope you enjoyed your trip, Mr. Wayne " host said kindly. Tim nodded " The flight was wonderful. Please tell the pilot I was very pleased with the trip. " Then he got off the plane and walked towards the arrival area.
The moment Tim put his foot on the airport runway, he felt like he was in a different universe. The fact that 80 percent of Japan has special powers called "Quirks" and is a country closed to the outside world was probably one of the biggest reasons for this...
He scanned the area, try to find similar black haired man in blacks but weirdly Tim’s eyes landed on a sonic disaster. A man with blonde hair defied gravity stood by the railing. Man was holding a name board. The board read ' I am from 雄英高等学校 (Yuuei High School / U.A.) Welcome to our country... Our new international student ' in both english and japanese. Tim approached him, handed him the application form, and asked in a perfect japanese, " すみません (Sumimasen / Excuse me). I believe you're the one who will be taking me. " Blonde man took the document and examined it. Then a huge grin appeared on his face. " Hi リスナー (Risunā / Listener) There's been a 'Last Minute Change' to the plans ! So I'm your private driver today ! Let's go ! "
Tim took a deep breath and examined the man front of him. Hmm... This guy Hizashi Yamada, a.k.a. The Voice Hero : Present Mic. He looks relaxed, nodding his head in agreement, hands are visible and open, crinkled eyes, a genuine smile, instead of holding his name boardin front of him, he's tucked it under his arm. So he's definetly truthfull... Good. The entire thought process lasted only 1/25th of a second. Tim looked around one last time. Good, it seems nobody knows who I am. Being a Wayne is hard. Tim took a deep breath and smiled. He suddenly feel this is start of the a long school year. Tim adjusted his bag while Hizashi take his suitcase. Bruce you will owe me for this, Tim thought tiredly.
