Talai woke up to a soft thumping sound of tiny feet in the floor.
She turns around to her sleeping husband "beloved why on earth is our child awake at this hour?"
Bruce grunts and wake up to go check on the noise "he's probably just playing with titus"
Bruce walks down the hallway full of portraits and into dami's room. Softly knocking before entering, he's surprised when he sees that Damian isn't playing with titus and is just attempting to stand on his hands.
"Baby what are you doing this late?"
Dami whips his head instantly.
"Baba, i saw Grayson the other day doing it so i wanted to try and learn it so i can show it to you and mama." Dami says with a tiny lisp caused because his two front baby teeth where removed a week a ago
Bruce looks at his 6 years old son attempting to learn an acrobatic move at 3 am to show him and his wife and something in his heart just breaks softly.
"Baby, everything you do makes me and your mama proud. But if you really wanna learn it i can teach you"
Dami's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree and he started jumping and place
"Yes baba please "
So here they are at 3:23am in the home gym, bruce explains it in simple moves
"Don't bend your arms when you're going down on the mat "
"Okay"
Suddenly 3 shadows appear from the door. Bruce gets up to greet his sons who just came back from patrol
"What y'all doing in here in this ungodly hour" Jason practically shouts from the door
While dick kneels down to greet Damian
"Hi babybat, why aren't you in bed yet?"
"The demon spawn prolly woke up to suck some blood at this hour"
Bruce ignores their comments and says to all of them
"I'm teaching him how to do a handstand"
"Awwwwww, bruce please let me teach him too i have a lot of cool moves i wanna show him. And I'm slightly offended that he came to you to teach him, gymnastics are my specialty "
"He didn't come to me and talia just heard some noise from his room. I went to check it an i found him there attempting a hand stand"
While they're still talking Alfred slowly walks infront of them and picks up something from the ground they all turn around to see what it is.
In Alfred's arms there's a sleeping dami. Who probably fell asleep from tiredness and because he's a still a child who needs minimum 8 hours of sleep
"Young Masters i think the gymnastics lessons should continue tomorrow right now master damain doesn't seem so energetic for them'
They all retrieve to their rooms at 4 am after checking on dami in his bed and watching Alfred tuck him in.
