Summary
It was considered the highest honor for a young kitsune to be selected by Inari-sama to serve as a shrine guardian.
Atsumu and Osamu are selected from a young age and expect to work at their assigned shrine together for eternity, but plans change when Atsumu is sent away to a shrine in the east.
It's there where a tall dark haired mortal stumbles into his life, wracked with illness none of the gods have been able to heal. Atsumu might not be able to cure this sickly mortal, but damn if he won’t do everything in his power to save him.
Even if it means courting disaster.
