Summary
Long before the first Duelist drew a card, the world was shaped by the clashing of primordial spirits. From the emerald ruins of sinking Atlantis, where the three Knights of Destiny gave their lives to seal the Void, to the golden limestone of Memphis, the 'Gentle Darkness' has always watched from the shadows. As the continent of paradise descends into the abyss, the spirits that will one day become the Kamishiro, Tsukumo, and Arclight families begin their long, ethereal drift toward a new sunrise.
In Ancient Egypt, the coronation of Pharaoh Atem marks the start of a new struggle. Linked by blood and destiny, the High Priest Seto and the mysterious wanderer Kisara find their fates entwined with a legacy of White Dragons and Millennial artifacts. But as the Thief King Bakura stirs the restless gold of Kul Elna, a chilling truth emerges: the Orichalcos did not die with Atlantis. It is waiting for Egypt to fail, watching through the emerald eyes of the ghost-king Dartz.
This is the history of the ancestors—the kings, knights, and priestesses whose promises and tragedies forged the blueprint for the modern world. The cycle of reincarnation is turning, and the ancestors are waking up.Series
