Summary
It took too long, but the ambulance arrived on scene, taking in the accident of a fellow firefighter before they moved down. “Ok, this is one of our own, but we still need to treat it like any other car accident. Jones, Garcia, you are heading down to the crash site, and I want to know everything about Buckley’s situation.” Captain Hill of B-Shift 118 instructed his team and watched closely as Jones and Garcia headed down the hill to the mangled, familiar blue jeep. They all knew how important Evan ‘Buck’ Buckley was to A-Shift, so this was about to be the most brutal rescue of their career, and if they failed, they would lose an outstanding firefighter.
