Summary
XCOM and its allies carry out the most successful decapitation strike in history. Within hours, the Global Psionic Network is no more, as is majority of the Ethereal Leadership. ADVENT is overwhelmed with a sudden worldwide uprising. Amid the chaos, a human fighter pilot serving in a propaganda squadron of the ADVENT Air Force, and a viper AWACS radar operator are pressed into combat against resistance forces and opposing factions of the fracturing Ethereal Collective.
