Wei Wuxian immediately took bath. He wore new clothes and came out from the bathroom. Water dripped from his open hairs but he didn't take attention on them.
Wei Wuxian walked towards the door. All the servants looked at him but no one stopped him. They all looked confusingly at each other. Wei Wuxian stopped and turned behind to look at those maids.
"If the prince will ask about me then tell him that I am in emperor's residence.", Wei Wuxian said.
"If I will got into any trouble then he will help me. I can't bother him at this time. I have to solve my own problem. My clothes are still there under the bed. I have to take them out and hide them in the safe place. If someone will see those clothes then they will tell the emperor. Lan Wangji knows that I was wearing those clothes and he will recognize them easily. He will get to know that I am here. No.. I can't let this happen.", Wei Wuxian thought. His heartbeat was fast because he was taking the risk to enter into the emperor's palace.
Wei Wuxian walked quickly. Everyone looked at him because he was new there that's why everyone took a glance of him to know who's he. He absolutely felt the gaze of everyone but he didn't mind it.
When Wei Wuxian felt that he could be caught by them he started hiding from everyone and he secretly walked towards the emperor's residence.
Wei Wuxian finally reached there. He hides from the guards. When the guards left for a few seconds from the main entrance then he ran inside the palace.
Wei Wuxian walked in the corridor and searched the room. Whenever he saw any servent or maid then he hid behind curtains or the pillars.
At that time the maids and servants were cleaning the rooms. At any cost Wei Wuxian needed to get his clothes before any maid found them.
Wei Wuxian saw the room and came inside it. He took a relief breath. No one was cleaning that room. He closed the door and came near the bed, after bending down he took out his clothes from under the bed.
Wei Wuxian looked around to find a bag so he could hide his clothes there. He opened the cupboard and found a small bag. He kept his clothes inside it.
Wei Wuxian opened the door and stepped out. He walked secretly in the corridor. When he saw a guard then he hid behind a curtain. When the guard left then he walked slowly.
"Who's there?", Lan Wangji said in his dominant voice.
Wei Wuxian's feet froze in place. His grip tightened on the bag. He could hear his footsteps which were heading towards him.
"Run!", Wei Wuxian mumbled.
Wei Wuxian started running. The curtains were falling on his face whenever he was running near the window side.
"Stop!", Lan Wangji said.
Wei Wuxian didn't stop. Lan Wangji disappeared from his place. A curtain came on Wei Wuxian's face. He was trying to slide it away but then suddenly Lan Wangji appeared there.
Wei Wuxian saw Lan Wangji's face with blurry vision because of the curtain. He turned back and tried to run but the emperor's strong hand grabbed his arm tightly and didn't let him run away.
Wei Wuxian got very scared and he didn't know where to run at that moment. His heartbeat was fast and he was afraid to turn towards the emperor.
"Who are you? Outsiders are forbidden in my emperor's residence!", Lan Wangji said.
Lan Wangji pulled Wei Wuxian but Wei Wuxian didn't move from his place. The curtain was still on his face covering him.
"Uncle!", Lan Sizhui said in panic voice.
Lan Wangji turned and looked at his nephew. His nephew was tense. He ran and came near him.
"Why did you come here?", Lan Sizhui said to Wei Wuxian.
Wei Wuxian looked at the bag in his hand and then he looked at a room which was open. He quickly hide behind Lan Sizhui without showing his face to the king.
"Do you know him?", Lan Wangji asked his nephew and he raised his eyebrows. He looked more dangerous.
"Y...y...yes h..he is my...he is my... Friend!", Lan Sizhui said. He was panicking.
"Really? Why are you hesitating?", Lan Wangji asked. He took a step towards his nephew.
"Yes uncle. Why I will lie to you. He is my friend. I invited him here.", Lan Sizhui said.
"Why he is here? Why he ran when I told him to stop?", Lan Wangji asked.
"B... because he is afraid of you. You are the emperor that's why everyone respects you and are afraid of you. Actually I told him to go for morning walk as he wanted. He came here mistakenly. It wasn't his fault.", Lan Sizhui said.
"But you never had any close friend!", Lan Wangji asked.
Lan Sizhui bit his lower lip in tension.
"We know each other since childhood. We were friends in school.", Wei Wuxian said.
