Summary
Artemis Granger is back on the grid, now racing in GRIT's 1st seat after her promotion during the off season. Following the tragic deaths of her siblings and the scandal of her leaked sex tape, Artemis is determined to focus solely on her racing skills and avoid any on-track entanglements like those she had with Hugo last season. Yet, despite her resolve, she finds herself captivated by him, drawn to his highlights and practice runs even as jealousy simmers within her whenever she sees him with anyone else.
Hugo, meanwhile, is grappling with his own tumultuous changes. Having recently moved to North Carolina and changed his last name from Weasley to Brown, becoming sponsored by Orion Malfoy, getting a coach that works with him not against him. Hugo is still haunted by his feelings for Artemis. Torn between love and resentment, he longs for the connection they once shared.
The emotional whiplash proves to be as hurtful as it is addicting, and they find themselves caught in a dangerous cycle of longing and heartbreak, each trying to navigate their feelings amidst the relentless pressures of the Formula One season.
