The movement shifts his mask down, the already loose knot unravelling further from the scuffle. When it finally comes undone and falls off his face, he expects a punch that never comes. Instead, Steve is frozen above him.
“Eddie?” Steve breathes. He blinks at him.
He brings the stun gun to his neck and Steve crumples with a choked grunt.

This is so peak I’m genuinely in shock. It’s so detailed and has so many little things that make up this amazing start to a story and this is sooooo good I can’t wait for the next chapter
