Summary
Ned Stark, known as the quiet wolf, has all his life been brought South for the grand Tourney of Harrenhall. He found himself stumbling over his own words as his elder brother thrust him into a dance with the most beautiful lady of the realm, Ashara Dayne. What many couldn’t believe, nor was he thinking of finding love in the cursed place of Harrenhall.
This story follows two separate timeline arcs, each leading toward vastly different futures. As you read, starting at chapter five, you may choose which path you prefer as the true course of this world: one shaped more heavily by grief, sacrifice, and the brutal cost of war, while the other leans toward healing, family, and the fragile hope of spring. In the end, the choice of which story truly lives belongs to you :)
