Thor stood anxiously in the arena, Mjolnir in one hand and Stormbreaker in the other. The fight had officially begun about a minute ago, yet his opponent was nowhere to be seen. He had no idea of who his opponent could possibly be, or what he was capable of.
Could they be invisible? Waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike? Or were they somewhere in the arena, on the ceiling? Hiding in the crowd? He felt a small tug on his hair, immediately whipping around trying to find his opponent. That was a bad move.
Using the momentum from the turn LEGO Batman lunged into one of the God of Thunder’s eyes, quickly moving his tiny plastic arms. Thor yelped at the sudden pain, grabbing the figure from his face and holding it in his hands.
“What are you?” Thor asked, confused, stabbing the head of stormbreaker into the dirt and rubbing the eye that was attacked by the LEGO man.
“I’m Batman.” The lego said quickly and in an unusually deep voice for something of its size. Batman jumped out of Thor’s hand, right back onto his face. Poking and stabbing at his eyes for a moment before jumping off and into a flying lego contraption, which flew off out of Thor’s reach before he could react.
It floated in circles for a few seconds, too high to reach by jumping but too low down to use Mjolnir to fly. Thor was just beginning to grab Stormbreaker to use its extended handle to knock the LEGO out of the air, when Batman dropped out of the craft. This time with a lit match.
The second the figure landed on Thor’s head, it touched the lit end of the match down on his hair, lighting it ablaze almost instantly. The people in charge of the fight almost immediately ran for fire extinguishers and onto the field, doing their best to put out the fire as quickly as possible. By the time it was out all of Thor’s hair was practically gone and his scalp was burned.
As the medics arrived on the scene Thor turned until he saw the LEGO man, “You play dirty little man.”
