Fabian laughed in relief, surprising himself slightly with how nervous he’d been about the whole asking-Riz-to-help thing. “Amazing. Thank the gods. This is great, actually. You can help me plan an optimized agenda, and everything!”
“That’s the most excited I think anyone’s ever sounded saying the words ‘optimized agenda’.”
“That’s because I am excited.” And it was true. He could feel himself buzzing with anxious energy, which was kind of ironic considering how hesitant he’d been about the whole idea at first. The thought of having Riz’s support along the way just made the growth journey concept that much more manageable. “Promise me you’ll help me the whole way?”
“Promise.” Riz held out his hand, and Fabian shook it.
“Fuck yeah.” Fabian rubbed his hands together. “What’s the plan?”
