Chapter Text
“Alright you sick fucks! Put your cocks away and whip out your wallets!!! The bidding starts out 500- no, 900- no wait! Aha! The bidding starts at 1,000,000 Souls for this fucking dime-piece of Angel pussy!!!”
Smack!
‘....It occurs to me that much of this is my own fault’ Seraphiel Mater could only grimace.
Not only was the pang of shame on her for being in such a ridiculous situation, but the gentle burn of a Soul Collar around her neck that was shockingly restricting her Angelic Might heavy-
Smack!
“Damn! Look at that thing, bitch! You shit with that ass?”
……..And the fact that she was having to endure the Imp smacking her rear was also a source of rage within her.
“Filthy Imp” she grit out under her breath. Yet despite her best attempt to keep from aggravating her captors, a neon purple chain formed on the collar before she was yanked forward. “Ah!”.
Immediately, she was brought to her hands and knees. Just before she could steady herself, several more purple chains formed around her.
Chink!
Shnik!
Cnnnk!
Ching!
Four soul cuffs formed on her wrists and ankles, as sickly mauve energy poured off it like shit from a Sinner’s apartment.
Just when she had gained her bearings, a rough kick to the face took her further off guard. The demonic magic within the cuffs hampered her usual invulnerability, leaving her with a bruised cheek and a cut lip.
“You know…you look a lot more fuckable on your knees where you belong, Angel”. The sleazy Imp with thin horns and porno stache brought his foot on Sera’s head, pushing her face down against the platform.
“Gah!”. Sera was utterly at the mercy of this Hellborne demon. Golden blood was leaking down her lip, and she felt her luxurious periwinkle hair grow damp and warm. ‘This…this is absolutely despicable!’ she screamed internally. The indignation within her was also cut with fear as she did her best to keep her vision from blurring.
All of this had happened because Sera had listened to her bleeding heart…
Because she made the mistake of giving Lucifer's spawn a chance.
The Ascension of the Serpent Sinner, whatever in the Almighty's name he was called, had shocked her and turned the upper choirs of Heaven upside down.
Between Emily's hopeful optimism, the guilt Sera felt at the Exterminations, and the uselessly sweetened words of the Speaker Of God, Sera had caved in. She thought that she had some sort of obligation towards the sinners in Hell.
That she was some sort of monster for allowing the Exterminations.
That she owed these demons a chance at repentance and redemption, as Lucifer's spawn called it.
How wrong she was.
Sera had admonished Lute's desire for revenge for Adam's death, and she foolishly stripped Lute of her title as the recently promoted Head Exorcist.
She thought the time for violence had passed, and gave her full support to Charles and her Hotel dream.
Emily & her had come up with the idea of the three of them coming to Hell- which should have been Sera's first red flag, and showing to the Sinners how harmless Heaven was.
What Sera didn't expect was to have to humiliate herself by ladling soup to Sinners and offering them bread, while Emily gave out…sweaters and gift baskets.
All the while Chester was gushing and smiling in front of the cameras, that Sera had no idea would be there.
Sera had to endure spite and smug rudeness from the Sinners, regardless of how kind she had to be to them.
‘Psh. You call this fucking soup? I've sucked cock that tasted better than this!’
‘Fucking cunt ass bitch ass shit colored Angel holy dyke. Not so tough without your Exorcists, huh???’
‘Oops! I dropped my shitty soup! Looks like someone with a sinfully fat ass should bend over and pick it up…..THATS RIGHT, I'M TALKING TO YOU CHRIST-CUNT!!! SHOW US YOUR ASSHOLE!!!’
Regardless of Sera’s willingness to apologize, the help she tried to give them, or even just smiling their way, they gave her contempt and hate.
When she saw an elderly Sinner struggling to break their loaf of fresh bread Sera baked, she kindly offered to help cut their bread for them…
Only to get a sneer and a disgustingly thick amount of spit on her face for the attempt.
She was utterly numb and disrespected as Sinners flocked away from the food drive and the cameras from whatever local Hell news networks had packed up and left.
While Emily & Christopher were happy about how the event was a total success Sera was weary and at her wits end.
…….And then Emily excitedly left with Champagne in a portal to the Hotel proper, leaving Sera behind to package up the remaining food by herself.
Unfortunately for Sera, she made the mistake of letting her guard down in enemy territory.
Just as she used her magic to contain the last of the food, an Angelic Steel net covered her, and she felt pain at the base of her neck before everything went black.
When Sera woke up, she was in a literal cage. An Angelic Steel cage, with her wings bound and her body covered in Soul Chains.
She felt fear fill her, when she saw the lingering figures of Demons of all types in a crowd below her cage.
Sinners, Imps, Succubi, Incubi, Possessors and even Ars Goetia in the crowd.
She couldn't believe it.
She was in disbelief.
She had been captured…
And she was being sold.
“Alright Cunts & Cads! You heard me before! Bidding for this fucking bitchy wing wench starts at 1 Million big ones!!!!”. The mustached Imp raised a meat mallet, as he waved it around like a gavel. “A deal of 100 lifetimes! An Angel from Heaven!” He leered, as he licked his lips at Sera, making her skin crawl. “She's real, she's dripping with fear, and she's particularly unspoiled, if you get what I mean!”.
The emphasis of his words wasn't lost on Sera, and disgust filled her. She didn't wish to give this Imp the satisfaction of her emotional state, but she couldn't deny her fear. She instinctively tried to activate any of her magics, and even tried to ascend to her partial or full form. But the soul chains glowed brighter, burning her wrists. They weren't contracted to her, but they were enough to punish her for trying to break them.
“Agggghhh!!!” She cried out in arduous pain. The multiple Angelic eyes that would usually glow brightly on her wings, were now irritated with pink veins bulging in them. Her cedar toned skin grew neon purple burns around her neck, wrists and ankles, and she was left weakly hunched over. She panted in exhaustion, as her tears dripped down below with the dripping golden blood of her earlier wounds. The cackling of the Imp made her grit her teeth further.
“See folks? This bitch ain't broken yet!” He smirked, as his bronze tooth flashed in the light of the room. He grabbed a handful of Sera's hair, forcing to look up at him as he gleefully looked at her. “You gotta get her now, while she's got some spirit!!!”.
Wincing in pain, Sera glared at him as her teeth were bared. But the Imp clutching the soul chains tighter made her refrain from speaking.
Sera was not experienced in enduring such pain. Her countless millennia in Heaven not only had dulled her resistance to pain, but the amount of things that could actually harm her were far and few between.
The last time she had been conscripted to take up arms of any kind, was when the Morningstar raised his rebellion and she fought back to back with her sister Jophiel against the faithless turncoats.
But now? She was hurt. She was afraid. And she avoided the Imps gaze like a beaten dog.
The Imp grinned, patting her head patronizingly and bumping her halo against her forehead. “Awwww. See? The wittle Angel can actuwally know her pwace!!!” he mocked with a sweet tone.
Still holding her chain, he cast a hand out flamboyantly. Slamming the mallet on the podium, his voice echoed out. “Cmon folks! Who wants this prime piece of Silver Pussy!!!”.
“1,005,000 Souls!!!”
Now with a brighter grin, the Imp slammed his mallet again. “We're clocking in at 1 mil & 5k bucks! Do I hear 1 & 6k???”.
“1,700,000 Souls!!!”
“1,750,000 Souls!!!”
“1,800,000 Souls, and a really good blowjob!!!”
“Oho! The big guns are busting out here folks!”. The imp wearing nothing but a fedora, baggy pants and some suspenders was practically humping the podium, as he pointed towards the crowd with his meat mallet gavel. “1.8 mil, and some top tier sloppy toppy!!! Do I hear better?”.
“$1,850,000 & 100 next gen Fizz Bots!”
“$1,900,000 plus 20 kegs of aged Beelzejuice from my wife’s bar!!!!”
“$1,900,200, and nudes of that guy's wife!!!”
“HEY! FUCK YOU, YOU DAMN KENNEL RAT!!!!!”
As the bidders cried out louder and louder, Sera's heart plummeted lower and lower. No matter how hard she closed her eyes, the menacing shadows of the demons still covered her.
Their mocking laughter.
The jeers & threats to kill her…or worse.
The utter contempt for her, with nothing resembling empathy or understanding in their empty hollow eyes.
‘I-I don't understand!!! Why would they do this??? I wanted to h-help the sinners! To make things right!’. Finally gaining the courage she faced the crowd at large despite the tears she had to hold back. “Why??? Why did you capture me??? I-I wanted to make amends for what I- what Heaven did!!!”.
Regret painted her features, as her tears finally flowed along with the blood from her head and lip. “I-I want to help bring Sinners to Heaven! To follow your own Princesses dream-”
Sera didn't even get to finish speaking, before raucous laughter filled the room.
All the Sinners in the room were laughing callously and boldly, while the Hellborne simply watched uncaringly towards sinner politics. Sera’s eyes widened as she immediately felt trapped in a pit of mocking destitution.
“This stupid cloud ditz thinks we want ‘Redemption’???”
“Oh mein Gott! What a fool! Is all of Heaven filled with such Minderwertige mit geringer Intelligenz?”
“HA! THE FUCK I WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN FOR??? ALL MY WHORES AND DRUGS ARE HERE!!!!”
They laughed and laughed and laughed, all the while Sera’s heart caved inwards. Her world began to grow cold, and she genuinely felt…she felt as if she had sacrificed everything she loved and knew.
‘I…I wanted to help them. I thought…..I thought they deserved the chance to attain paradise for themselves’. Sera felt everything within her fall to a darkness she never wished to face. ‘Emily…I'll never see your smiling face again’.
Sera didn't blame Emily. Her little sister was everything joyful that Heaven represented. It wasn't her fault that she was led away from the light, by yet another ravenous wolf in the flesh of a false prophet.
‘Lute…I should have listened to you’.
Sera should have remembered that the Exorcist Lieutenant had firsthand experience in dealing with Demons, and watching them in their natural habitat. She let guilt cloud her instead of trusting the woman who knew how to detect and dispatch Evil.
‘Adam…my Adam. You were right from the beginning…’
Sera’s knowledge of Adam's death was a passing thing. She didn't react at the news, and busied herself by dealing with the Heavenly council. Lute revealing it to said council, only further made her bury her reaction down, as she got a superficial comfort from the Speaker.
But now? Now her true emotions were weighing down on her greater than the soul chains ever could.
The brown haired creation who would ask her opinion on what to name fruits in Eden, before shoving them in his mouth all at once and burying his face in her lap after his inevitable tummy ache…
The hardened mortal human who she could only watch from afar struggled to care for a wife that betrayed him, and children that depended on him within ancient Earth…
The relaxed Archangel that always brought her smoothies, and nagged her into making sure she slept when she happened to overwork herself.
…He was dead.
Her beloved Selem Yaweh was ripped away from her, and she was making peace with the daughter of the original serpent who ruined everything in creation.
‘I truly can't believe I was foolish enough to forget. To be tricked by a Morningstar once again’. She was empty and distraught. Sera’s heart pulsed with a regretful acceptance, as she felt she had nobody to blame but herself for being so…foolish. ‘These peop- no. These creatures are…and always have been nothing…but Demons’.
The Imp seemed to drink in her shattered mental state, simply chuckling as he scratched his crotch in pride. “Ain't that just a pretty thing to see”. Gripping the podium with both hands, he flashed his teeth in a feral girt of utter joy. “Cmon folks! Let's get this show on the road! Good pussy has an expiration date, after all!!! I heard 1,900,200 Souls! Going once! Going twi-”
SHWING!!!!!!
Splat!
The sensation of something wet & warm impacting Sera's face took her off guard. When she opened her eyes, she had to wipe away whatever had covered her face as best as she could. Seeing the warm red liquid, she pursed her lips in confusion. ‘Red?...Wait. I'm not the one bleeding?’.
Thunk!
The sound of wood hitting the ground made her look to her side in shock, only further stupefying the sight before her.
The Imp, or what was left of him, was teetering back and forth. His forearms were dismembered and on the ground, pooling blood at his hooves. His upper body was on the floor below the stage, and Sera beheld a look of frozen shock on his unmoving face.
Looking back over to her side, she witnessed a gruesome sight.
The Imp had been crudely cut at the waist, along with the wooden podium in front of him.
Blood spurted out of his bifurcated corpse, before his legs fell over.
“AHHHH!!!! Ի՞ՆՉ ՏԵՍԱԿԻ ԱՃՈՒՐԴ Է ՍԱ????”
“Hahaha! Woah. I'm so high that it looks like that Firetoad is dead. Crazy right guys…..guys?.......oh boy. I'm not high, am I?”
“WHAT IN THE FUCKASS JUST HAPPENED???”
Screams and shouts of worry filled the massive auction room, as Hellborne & Sinners pushed against one another to try and scramble as far away from the podium as possible.
But they wouldn't get the chance.
VWOON!
Sera looked up, and bore witness to a golden barrier filling the room and forming exactly on the edge of the walls. Transparent and bright, it immediately made escape impossible for the Demons.
Their bodies slammed into the barrier, and they let out cries of upset indignation at being unable to break free.
“HEY HEY HEY! WHAT'S THE GAS??? WE CAN'T GET OUT!!!!”
Once again, everyone would be left taken aback, when the far walls to the building began to crumble.
Light from outside cast in, making countless of Sinners & Hellborn alike cower and bunch together as far away from the impromptu entrance as they could. They were left wholly unable to do anything else but shove one another further against the other end of the barrier.
Fearful murmuring was the backdrop to Sera’s confusion. Wiping more of the blood off her face with her now unbound hands, she looked behind her to notice a rather odd object implanted in the wall.
Buried deep in the wall, was a massive axe that looked straight from the molten pits of Wrath itself.
Sitting at 7 feet in length was a double bearded, lavender axe. The shaft was black, with a dark blue leather binding around the base while blood dripped down its length.
The head of the weapon was solid angelic steel, and strangely had black serrated teeth on the outer edges of the blades. There was a strangely familiar ‘A’ carved into the base of the axe’s head, and there were the numbers ‘777’ spray painted in the same lavender color.
Immediately, the Axe was pulled out of the wall and flew towards the open break in the room. For a brief second, Sera saw a very very thin metallic wire reflecting off the light. It was connected to the axe and seemed to be what allowed it to be pulled from afar.
The axe found its home in a fingerless gloved hand, and it was promptly swung around before being slammed down with the head against the ground.
Thoon!
All of the demons in the room collectively clenched their assholes and flinched, as the axe slamming into the floor made the floor crack noticeably.
“...The barrier”, A cold and gruff voice spoke, addressing an unknown recipient.
A small burst of orange light formed at the height of the room, before a material form manifested.
Several orange rings tore through space itself, before they began to rotate within one another. Light blue eyes sprouted on the edges, and wisps of crimson flames burst into existence around the rings. A crimson robe formed under the rings and the sleeves extended outwards, before finally summoning several pairs of wings behind the figure.
“The barrier is secure, buddy,!” hummed a voice from the rings. A very familiar voice.
“Wha- Terry????” Sera asked in bewilderment, easily recognizing the Throne Angel. Not only was he one of Sera’s friends himself, but he also was one of the Councilors of Heaven.
A final eye appeared in the center of the rings which comprised Terry’s head, as his sky blue pupil gazed fondly at Sera. “Sorry for the wait, Sera”. Casting his hands towards her, a golden light washed over Sera. Her wounds and bruises melted away like dirt washed away by water, and she felt the impediment on her soul fade to nothing. “We had to gather everyone together before we came”.
‘We?’. While relieved at the casting of healing light on her body, she couldn't help but blink owlishly as she once more wiping blood from her face in confusion. “...Everyone?”.
“OH SHIT! ANGELS!!!!”
“FUCK FUCK FUCK, I THOUGHT THE EXTERMINATIONS WERE DONE!!!!”
“Heh. Don't worry guys. I'm the Halo Hunter. They don't scare m-OW!”
“SHUT UP ASSLESS! WHO EVEN INVITED YOU HERE????”
The beating of wings and sound of footfalls brought Sera’s attention to the hole once again. And what she saw made her jaw drop.
Angels.
Exorcist Angels.
Standing arm to arm, was a large group of Angels. But not as she knew them…
Black winged Angels stood at the impromptu entrance of the room, as the feminine figures wore guerilla Angelic Steel armor.
Unlike the matching uniform battle dresses of the Exorcists, these Angels wore ramshackle pieces of unique armor in various places.
Each warrior wore their own unique design, ranging from chainmail, to tactical vests, to pauldrons, and even twisted spiked high heels.
The one thing they had in common was their strange black wings, lack of halos, and their helmets.
White colored helmets, with Purple horns jutting up. Each pair was different, with some curving, some sticking straight outwards and some pointing up. But all the helmets had these horns, and they had a single ‘X’ shaped hole in which of their glowing colored eyes were gazing through.
They were all armed with melee weapons…and guns?
For the umpteenth time, Sera cleared her eyes to wipe the blood and disbelief off her face.
Rifles, pistols, shotguns….and some sort of rocket projectile weapon that Sera genuinely didn't recognize were amongst the pseudo-Exorcists, included alongside their melee weapons.
“Sir. The building is secured, no stragglers managed to get out of the barrier”.
The sight of none other than Lute touching down back on the ground took frontage of Sera’s focus. The Lieutenant Exorcist had her usual Helmet on, except now the horns were the same matching shade of Lavender as the other Angels. Her dress & skirt were now black, and she wore armored heels and a lavender cape on her left side that was held in place under a pauldron with the letters ‘L&A’ expertly carved into the surface.
She turned on her heels, before facing to the side. “What are your orders, Adam?”.
…
…
‘A-adam?’
“Adam?????”. This time she didn't even waste time cleaning her eyes, as her head turned so far to the side that it would've given a normal being whiplash.
It couldn't be him.
It shouldn't be him.
He was dead, his body was lost to the Pride Ring, and there was nothing anyone could do to-
“Ladies”
The gruff voice spoke simply. Even through the anxious murmurs of the Demons, Sera heard his voice with clarity.
Without hesitation, the Angels all stood at attention. Their heels clicked together and their weapons rested in preparation for their commander's words. “Sir!!!” Their feminine voices spoke unanimously, sending chills through the Demons.
Finally, she was able to lay eyes on him.
He stood taller than anyone in the room, save her if she was standing. His skin was more tanned than she had seen in 9,100 years. The formerly spiked brown hair he had since his creation was now long and untamed while it came down to his shoulders. Some of it was braided but most of it flowed down freely.
His full beard came down elegantly, with a tinge of grey in the flowing hair.
This man stood tall, with the skinned white fur of a shockingly large Hellhound draped over his shoulders. Its fur was untamed and longer than any Hellhound this side of Gluttony. The mouth was jarred open in a feral snarl and golden metal orbs were implanted where its eyes used to be, giving it a Heavenly menacing glare. Large claw marks were still visible on its face, and a heavy clasp chain connected it around the mans neck.
A lavender robe with an inverted ‘A’ came down to his knees, where black pants met silver tactical boots.
“You see all these fucking Demons stinking up this room, girls?” He rumbled, as he casually grabbed his axe. A monofilament angelic steel wire glinted in the light, and was wrapped around his wrist securely.
Once again, the legion of Angels with black wings clicked their heels together. “Sir, Yes Sir!!!”.
Finally looking at his weary face again, Sera saw them.
His eyes.
Full golden eyes which were staring right at her. She expected contempt for her, but she didn't see it. No.
Any hatred and rage she saw from him was levied at the room around it, at the Sinners & Hellborne trapped within.
Adam reached down to grab the large white Hellhound fang attached to the base of the axe head. He sharply yanked the fang out as a chord was revealed, and the sound of an infernal engine was heard jumping to life.
VRRNNNNGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!
The teeth on the axe began spinning so fast that they turned a bright gold. A black exhaust poured from the Chain-ax, before Adam apathetically raised it onto his shoulder as a massive pair of black smokey shadowy wings extended from his back.
“Fix that for me, girls” he drawled with half lidded eyes, as if discussing the weather. “Stab anything that moves. Shoot anything that doesn't”.
“SIR, YES SIR!!!!”
And then Hell broke loose in Hell.
Lute and the Angels leapt into action, and Demons of all classes, races and creeds screamed in terror.
Just as blood began to be spilled, Sera saw an orange glowing shield encircle the platform she was on. “Hm?”. She was pleasantly surprised to see Terry, floating at her side.
Several of the eyes on his rings were closed in concentration, thereby maintaining the shield. “Im glad that we were able to make it in time, Sera” he happily spoke, before he grabbed her arm and gently helped her to her feet. “Are you alright? You're not injured? Do you have all your feathers? How many eyes do I have?” he questioned in worry.
He immediately summoned a satin hanky, and summoned a bottle of Holy Water before wiping the blood off her with the damp cloth.
In any other circumstance, Sera would be frustrated at being tended too like a child. But considering the circumstances, she was more than willing to make an exception. She was finally able to tiredly smile, as she raised her hands to placate the Throne before her. “Yes Terry, I'm fine. I have all my feathers, and you have 12 eyes as usual”.
A sigh of relief left the mouth less Angel, and his main eye closed in satisfied joy. “Phew! Then everything is there and accounted for”.
Aside from her stained clothing, Sera was much better than she had been an hour ago. The healing light Terry cast on her hand mended her wounds, and the shield he raised was doing an excellent job at keeping the two of them from the chaos that was unfolding.
And chaos was definitely an apt description.
With the barrier keeping any and all of the audience and bidders from leaving the building, it was nothing more than a glorified killbox.
The Sinners & Hellborne who came with the intention of using their greed to indulge themselves were now nothing but beasts to be culled.
“FUCK FUCK FUCK WAIT NO-” Cried out a Sinner who looked like a handsewn doll, before a crude Ultra Greatsword cleaved him in half. The Exorcist wearing plate armor who mercilessly killed him, glared forward with glowing burgundy eyes under her helm as she reached behind her back. She immediately whipped out a sawed off shotgun, before she fired upon an Imp that tried to scramble away.
Bam!!
Both rounds absolutely cut the Imp in half, sending his organs spraying onto more fear-addled demons. She didn't spare a single word, before she ejected the breach loaded shells. Turning to the blinded blood co weed demons, she let out a snarl and reloaded the shells before getting her blade again.
A greasy shark with a scar under his eye was scrambling over the bodies of his dead subordinates that he had immediately left behind to be killed. His golden tooth was on full display, and he was practically hyperventilating while standing up with trauma painted on his features.
“W-WHAT THE FUCK???!!!! Y-YOU CANT KILL US! W-WE'RE HELLBORN-”
Shksh!
The greasy Shark who was pissing himself in fear moments before could now only look down at his chest, to see a saber sticking through. “F-fucking dam-”
Squelch!!!
He wouldn't get to finish his sentence, as an Angel kicked him off her blade. She barely cast him a glance with her violet glowing eyes, and dove back into the crowd of death and destruction as he was left bleeding out on the floor.
Bam!
Bam bam bam!
Bam bam!
“AGHHHHHH FUCK!!! STOP SHOOTING ME AND KILL THIS DYKE YOU FUCKERS!!!!”
The top heavy Succubi was riddled with holes, as she was being held as a living shield by an Exorcist. She had a spear on her back, and was firing a Mac-10 at the overturned table where several Sinners & Hellborne were trying to make their last stand.
BAM!
Unfortunately for the pigtailed Succubus, the Sinners missed their shot and a bullet nailed itself in her head, making her go limp.
Without any hesitation, the Exorcist narrowed her green eyes before she spun the Succubi’s corpse at the table with a mighty throw.
“Agh!!!!”
“屌!”
“Shit! B-but I thought I was the Halo Hunter!!!”
“ASSLESS YOURE SO FUCKING USELESS I SWEAR TO-”
Not giving the Demons a single chance, the Exorcist flew forward in a burst of speed. Leaping up, she landed on the broken table before whipping out a second Uzi. Faster than the Demons could shit themselves, she unloaded every round in the magazines into them with extreme prejudice.
When it was all said and done, they were slumped over in smoking piles of blood and shell casings.
Click click
The magazines ejected from the Uzi’s, and the Exorcist swiped the guns against her thighs, loading a more fresh magazine into each gun. She cracked her neck silently, before flying back into the fray.
The Exorcists were merciless.
They were heartless.
Even when Imps dropped to their knees in fear, or Sinners threw down their weapons in surrender, they didn't stop executing everything in sight or distance.
…And Sera felt nothing.
She had exhausted her sympathy for the Demons, and the treatment she received after giving her heart out to these creatures was apparent.
She quite literally gave the fruits of her own labor to these Sinners, and they repaid her with mocking and pain.
The Hellborne who gathered were just as vile, hoping to purchase her as if she was an object to possess and defile.
‘Good fucking riddance, to bad rubbish’ she thought, shaking her head without a ounce of pity for the deaths she was witnessing. ‘They don't understand anything but suffering and hatred. Let them drown in it’.
“Man, they're tearing them to pieces” Terry whistled, by way of his rings vibrating at the right frequency. He raised his robed hand to his main eye, as if trying to help search for something in particular through the crowd. “Oh! Look! There's Adam!!!”.
“Adam????”. Sera quickly followed where Terry was pointing, and she felt hope that she otherwise wouldn't dare feel, well up inside her. Through the barrier and the one-sided slaughter, she saw him.
She saw Adam.
Walking slowly with purpose, was Adam.
Walking slowly towards her was Adam.
Adam. Selem. Yahweh.
Her Adam.
Cutting a swathe through the demon fodder without remorse, regret, or emotion.
He marched through the blood covered room steadily. His wings seemed to flow as if they were made of dense black smoke, but they never faded or wavered.
A Hellhound made the mistake of running across Adams path, and they were met with a swipe of his chain Ax.
VRNNGGGHHH!!!!!!
SPLAT!
He stepped over their body, uncaring as their blood gushed out like a broken water fountain.
“A dhia! Ith cac, a dhaorán!!!” screamed a male Sinner with a TNT filled briefcase for a head. He aimed a rocket launcher at Adam, and fired it in the hopes of defeating him.
But Adam just lazily swiped his blade against the rocket.
Thunk!
The now dented rocket sputtered from its exhaust, as it flipped in the air above Adam. And by the time he reared his ax back like a baseball, it was in the perfect position to be sent flying back at the sinner.
“FUC-”
THOOM!!!!
His wings immediately raised, blocking the shrapnel easily as fleeing demons surrounding the room were caught in the inferno of heat and metal. He didn't pause a single step, as he kept heading towards the podium.
Even with the ragtag Angels slaughtering the demons, Adam’s attacks were something to behold. He never once had to stop moving, the only blood on his person belonged to the demons around them, and he was silently focused on his task.
Finally approaching the barrier around the podium, a Incubus was quite literally pissing himself as he was backed against the barrier. With nowhere to go, and Adams overwhelming height approaching, he bore witness to the depths of desperation.
“woaH WOAH WOAH WOAH IM A H-HELLBORNE! IM A FUCKING HELLBORN-”
His cries weren't worth the breath it took to scream them, as Adam shoved his Ax into the sex demons chest. Blood splattered against the barrier, as the Incubus screamed in anguish.
Adam casually placed his boot on the Hellborne's chest for leverage, before giving the chord another mighty yank. The Chain-axe roared so loud that the barrier itself vibrated. The demon's screams were lost in the roar of the engine as the teeth tore them into mulch and chunks.
Instead of dragging the weapon through their body, Adam held his axe still as the teeth yanked what was left of the Incubus's body up against the barrier before sending them flying.
SPLAAAAAATTTTT!!!!!
Demon blood sprayed across Adam’s face, and splattered across the barrier. He simply blinked through the blood, and it was noted that steam began to rise off the gold barrier as the Heavenly magic burned away the blood.
The room’s chaos slowly began to fade, as Adam rested his chain-axe against the barrier before wiping the blood off his face.
“Ugh. Incubeggar blood? Gross. I'll be lucky if this spunk fairy’s blood doesn't give me Gonoherpesyphilaids”.
