In Victoria’s room, Thursday September 1st 2033, 1:58am…
*YAWN* Momakase smacks her lips as she hangs her Momakase suit in her closet; ready to return it to the SFPD at her earliest convenience. That night she had donned it for the noblest thing she’d even done as Momakase; helping Big Hero 6 defeat the Mascots. And it warmed her very tired heart to have Momakase end on a high note. She then closes her closet door and stretches; ready for bed.
“Mind if I join?” A kind voice asks, prompting her to turn around and see Grace; ready for bed as well. “I’m, scared to sleep not knowing if you’re safe.” She admits sheepishly, moving Momakase to give her a warm hug and smile. “Sure, come on.” She says as the hug ends and the two head to the bed and get under the covers. “How are you holding up?” Grace asks as she and Momakase face each other on the bed.
Momakase thinks about it before warmly smiling. “I’m fine, and proud that Momakase’s last deed was in the name of justice.” She gleams, making Grace’s heart happy. “I’m glad to hear that, and even happier that you’re safe. Good night Victoria, I love you.”
“..I love you too, Grace.” The bluehead gushes as the two drift off; glad that Momakase wouldn’t be in Momakase’s Victoria’s life anymore.
Sunday September 4th 2033, 9:04pm…
“And if you want the equivalent of an extra blanket, you can use this.” Momakase smiles to Trina as she pulls out her blanket with sleeves, prompting Trina to gush over it. “Oh my-“ She laughs as her mom hands it to her. “Isn’t this from infomercials?”
Momakase warmly chuckles a bit as she nods. “Yep. Bought one of these in 2003 then again this year. This combined with the weighted blanket I had back then was quite cozy.” She warmly reminisces as her daughter hugs the wearable blanket. “I love it, thanks mom.” She gushes; seeing something familiar in the closet. “Hey mom, isn’t that your jumpsuit?”
“Hmm?” Her mom says as she heads to the closet’s doorway; letting out an annoyed sigh upon seeing her old suit. “Dang it, I must’ve accidentally brought it back after helping Big Hero 6 a few days ago.” She mutters before her warm heart reminds her why she forgot. “And it’s understandable, as I have something more worth caring about than a crummy suit.” She gushes as she pinches Trina’s cheek, making her daughter smile warmly. “Thanks, mom. So, are you going to return it to Hamad- I mean Hiro this week?”
Her mom shrugs. “I’ll probaly just stuff it in a sack and give it to your Aunt Grace to give to him tomorrow or so at SFIT.” She says before closing the closet. “So, you excited to sleep on your new bed?”
Trina happily nods. “Can we please go get Aunt Grace so you and her can tuck me in?” She asks warmly, getting a kiss on the head from her mom. “Of course, come on.” Momakase says warmly as the two Kases head out.
Friday September 9th 2033, 8:46pm…
Trina draws in her sketchbook on her air mattress bed, looking up when she sees her Aunt Grace push her mom in her wheelchair into the room; with Momakase wearing her pajamas. “How was the bathing, mom?” Trina asks as she lowers her sketchbook; as today was the first time her aunt would help her mom bathe during the time she recovered from throwing out her back.
“It was awkward at first, but I got over it.” Momakase smiles warmly. “I love and feel around Grace, so in good time I’ll get used to it.”
Grace warmly smiles as she carries her friend out of the chair and puts her in bed; the bluehead taking off her brace as she got comfy. “Thanks again, Grace. For everything.” She warmly gushes, getting an affectionate hair ruffle from her taller friend. “Good night Victoria, I love you.” She gushes as she walks over to Trina. “Love you too, Grace.”
“Good night Trina.” The dean says as she hugs and kisses her niece good night. “I love you.”
“Love you too, Aunt Grace.” She warmly melts as her aunt leaves the room. Just before Momakase could turn off the light, Trina gets up and stands at the foot of the bed with slight doe eyes. “Could I please sleep with you tonight, mom?” She asks warmly, getting a loving nod from the bluehead. “Of course, but could you please do me a solid and stuff my Momakase suit into a bag so I can ask Grace to give it back to Hiro or Baymax?”
“Sure.” Her daughter says as she opens the closet and takes the jumpsuit off the hanger and the boots off the floor. She then grabs a duffel bag she sees on the floor and stuffs them in before closing the closet and leaving the bag on the dresser. “Should I leave it here?”
Momakase warmly shrugs. “Go ahead, I’ll remember it.” Her assuring words bring her daughter to her side, under the covers and snuggling up against her lovingly. “Good night Trina, I love you.” The bluehead says sweetly as she kisses her daughter’s nose, making her warmly giggle as she nuzzled her head against her. “I love you too, mom.” The beanie wearing girl says as she drifts/powers off, her mother turning to face her as she drifted off as well.
On Southwest Airlines, Sunday September 26th 2033, 5:06am…
Trina can’t help but gush as she looks at the airplane window; amazed by the clouds. “They’re so, WEIRD!” She gleams. “They don’t even look like clouds.” She warmly giggles.
Momakase warmly chuckles in her wheelchair friendly seat, enjoying her daughter’s childlike curiosity. “Yeah, I still can’t believe it to this day; and I’ve been flying since I was a girl. Hey Grace, do you want a snack?”
Grace nods, handing her best friend her duffle bag from the floor. “Thanks.” The bluehead says as she zips it open and hands Grace a peanut butter sandwich in a baggie. “Thanks.” She says as she opens it and enjoys the sandwich. As Momakase reaches for her sandwich, she pulls out more than just a delicious snack. “Oh, not again.” She mutters in annoyance as she sets her open sandwich baggie on her lap and holds her jumpsuit to get a good look at it. “I forgot this was in here.”
“We can pack it in my bag when we land so I can return it to Mr. Hamada.” Grace says between bites of her sandwich, making her friend smile as she started her sandwich. “Thanks, Grace.”
“Wait.” Trina snickered as she looked at the duffle bag. “Are the boots still in there?”
Her mom shrugs as she reaches into the bottom, nodding upon feeling them. “Huh, and I was wondering why I had to cram my neck pillow in there.”
Back in Grace’s room, Tuesday October 4th 2033, 7:25pm…
Momakase Victoria was sitting in her friend’s bed with Trina laying her head on her shoulder; spending some time with Grace as she organized her stuff. “I still can’t believe we went back in time.” Trina says. “And is it weird that I kinda miss it?”
“Miss it, or Karmi?” Victoria smiles, making her daughter a bit flustered. “Yeah. She was really nice.”
“Don’t worry Trina, hopefully the two of you can meet again soon.” Grace says warmly and confidently as she finishes organizing her clothes hung in the closet; remembering something upon seeing her mini-suitcase/carryon. “Oh dear.” She mutters as she takes it out and lays it on the foot of the bed as she quickly unzips it. “Is everything alright, Grace?” Victoria asks, concerned for her friend.
The dark-haired woman nods as she pulls out the Momakase suit from her bag; shocking the Kases. “I’m sorry Victoria, after helping Kang stop Sirque and Cobra from robbing Timeless, along with the excitement that you got into the teacher school, it must’ve slipped my mind.” She sulks a bit, knowing what bad memories the suit gave her friend.
To her surprise, the wild-haired mother gives her a warm smile. “It’s ok, Grace. You can return it whenever you can, no rush.” She says sweetly, surprising her friend and her daughter. “But, I thought,” Grace says as she grips the suit in confusion.
“After our recent trip through time, I feel more comfortable with the suit; getting closure in 2032.” Victoria warmly gushes. “Momakase is dead; there is no doubt in my mind. This is just something that needs a new purpose now that she’s gone.” She says before nuzzling her nose against Trina’s; making her giggle.
Grace gets a warm smile from how happy she was with her friend’s mental health milestone.
At Go Go and Honey Lemon’s apartment, Thursday November 3rd 2033, 7:58pm…
*DING DONG* “Coming!” Honey Lemon says as she rushes to the door while Go Go preps the dinner table. She then opens the door to- “Professor Granville?” She asks in slight shock, her skater roommate rushing over to join her. “It’s good to see you, but what brings you here this evening?” The redhead asks, wondering if she should be concerned.
“I just had something that should be returned to the SFPD; after two months of slacking on it.” Grace says formally as she hands HL a plastic shopping bag. Curious, she and her roommate peep in. “Wait, isn’t this Victoria’s suit?” Go Go asks as she holds up a sleeve.
Grace nods sheepishly. “Yes, well a lot of things have happened that prevented us from returning it to you. But I remembered today; so I rushed over here to ensure it’s at least out of the house today.”
“Don’t worry Professor.” HL smiles. “We’ll get it back soon.”
Her kind, friendly words make her former teacher/dean smile. “Very good, Ms. Ruiz. Take care you two.” She waves at them as she walks away, with Go Go closing the door when she disappeared out of view. The two roommates then go to the couch and take the suit out to examine it; shocked that they were seeing it that close up. “Huh, to think she didn’t even wear this when we fought her the first time.” Go Go notes.
“Actually I think she wore the bottom half of it, however that works.” HL points out. “She wore it with her chef uniform robe.”
“Oh right.” Her raven-haired friend clicks her tongue. “So, when’s the earliest we can return this to the SFPD?”
Her cheery friend then checks her Nick Wilde-themed phone. “Whenever we go on patrol works.” She smiles. “Excellent, so we’ll just stuff it back into the bag and write on it to take with us when we patrol tonight.” Go Go says as she puts her feet on the coffee table and lays back, while HL just hums a few random notes as the two sit in awkward silence. “You want us to try it on and take cute pictures?”
“I thought you’d never ask.” Go Go smiles with excitement.
Over at Megan’s house, Saturday December 3rd 2033, 3:27pm…
Megan adjusts her conspiracy board, trying to see if there was anything she, Juniper and Olivia were missing during their search for who broke out multiple villains from prison on December 1st. So far, nothing really. As she scrunches her nose in defeat, Juniper pats her shoulder from the bed; flashing her a warm smile. “Don’t worry, we’ll find something.” She says sweetly and softly, making Megan feel a bit better. “Thanks, June.”
*DING DONG* The doorbell speaker rings. “Huh, sorry girls I better go get that.” Megan says as to her surprise Juniper and Olivia get off the bed. “Can we come? We need to stretch.” Olivia says as she stretches from side to side.
After Megan said yes, the three headed to the front door and opened it; shocked to see a sheepish Honey Lemon and Go Go standing there. “Is everything ok you two?” Juniper asks her friends.
“Yeah, we’re just feeling bad that we’ve delayed a task for this long.” Go Go explains, feeling like a slacker. “We just came to drop this off for you to give to your dad.” She says as she hands Megan the plastic bag. “There’s an apology note for the SFPD inside.” HL explains, blushing from how ashamed she was to have put something off for this long; especially something so minor and easy. “Which explains why it’s taken so long.”
“Take care you three.” Go Go waves as she and HL walk to the car, feeling somewhat better from their slacking induced guilt.
Curious, Megan peeps into the bag; she and her friends shocked by what they see. “This is Aun- Tori’s suit.” Juniper says, wanting to wait for the bluehead to be present when she told her how much she loved her.
Olivia nods as she grabs one of the boots. “Huh, me and Trina’s mom have roughly the same size feet, it wouldn’t even be hard on my feet.”
“We’re not trying it on.” Megan says as she grabs the boot from Olivia’s hand and stuffs it back into the bag. “We’re going to give this to my dad as soon as he gets home.” She states firmly as she is the first to head back in. “Now come on, let’s go take a break from the case.”
Juniper then smirks upon getting an idea. “So, you’re saying that Athel and Izzy REALLY didn’t try it on while they had it?”
Megan stops as she looks in the bag and checks the suit. “It doesn’t seem stretched, however you two are overall different proportions than Tori; and let’s face it, both Go Go and Honey tried it on. So I don’t think the suit can handle multiple different body types within a short period.”
“So, YOU could try it on?” Olivia asks, making the reporter’s eyes shrink; as her friend had found a loophole. “You’re like 4 inches shorter than her, and you two have different body types; and different amounts of muscle. Also does the apology note say anything about NOT trying it on?” The engineer asks with a smug smile.
“Um,” Megan says as she takes the note out and skims it. “Actually, it does SOMEWHAT mention it. It says under the Honey Lemon clause, due to the amount of pictures each of them took in the suit, and the period of time they each spent in it; even using it as pajamas a good chunk of ti- You gotta be kidding me.” She mutters in disbelief. “So we believe it’s ok if.. Megan is the only one that tries it on.” She lowers the note with a deadpan. “XOXO, Athel Cho and Izzy Ruiz.”
“You don’t have to try on the outfit if you don’t want to, Meg.” Juniper says, not wanting to force her friend to do anything. The reporter shrugs as she stuffs the note into the bottom of the bag. “I want to, but I just can’t believe that all of that info was in the note.” She says as she heads to the bathroom. “June, could you please get the face paint I keep in my desk along with the hair spray cans Trina got me?” She says as she smirks. “If I’m going to do this, I’m doing it right.”
Over in a motel in Klamath Falls Oregon, Sunday December 11th 2033, 1:18pm…
“You know, you should really grow you hair out a bit.” Victoria says as she styles Grace’s hair on the bed. “You look pretty already, but a bit longer could mean a whole different type of pretty.” She says sweetly, moving her friend to let out a flattered, amused chuckle. “Perhaps I should. You know one reason I cut my hair this short was because of Wendy. When she moved out of her parents house in late 2013 to live with Sally, she got her hair cut short so she’d have a new look. I liked it, so I got it for myself.”
Victoria then lets out a curious chuckle. “I wanna see Wendy with short hair with her current green hair.”
“That would be interesting to see.” Grace notes as Cass and Megan walk up to her, with the brunette’s daughter looking a bit guilty. “Um, Ms. Kase?”
“Is everything alright, Megan?” The bluehead asks, getting a shrug in response. “Um, you know how Neurogenesis modified your jumpsuit to have a better chance against Kang?”
Victoria nods as she fixes one of Grace’s cowlicks. “Yeah, why?”
“Well, I just discovered that the police station used one of your spare suits, which I realized upon seeing this in my luggage.” The reporter sulks in guilt as she hands the bluehead a bag. Curious, she grabs it and opens it; shocked to see her suit, also noticing and grabbing the apology note Go Go and HL had written. “Wha- how did this happen?”
“Go Go and HL were supposed to take it to the police station.” Grace says as she grabs the note from her friend’s hands and examines it. “Though I can’t say I recall saying they could try it on.” She notes a bit sternly, making Megan feel a bit guilty. “Sorry, I thought it was ok. And with everything going on with investigating Kang and then,” She does the ‘you know’ gesture to describe the battle at Timeless Industries. “So it just sat on my coatrack until now. I’m sorry.”
Her blueheaded honorary aunt puts the bag on her lap and gives her a warm smile. “It’s ok Megan, I’m not mad, I get it, Kang put us all in a loop.” She says as she lovingly ruffles her niece’s head. “Besides, Izzy and Athel are the ones that almost stretched it out; imagine what the police would’ve said if they did.” She chuckled, making Megan snicker a bit. “Thanks, Ms. Kas- I mean Aunt Tori.”
“Whatever makes you comfortable, Megan.” The bluehead assures her, before getting an idea. She signals Cass over and whispers something in her ear as she hands her the bag. Holding back a very big smile behind a happy smirk, Cass nods and heads to the bathroom. “So Megan, how did it feel wearing my suit?” Victoria asks her niece, getting a happy blush from her. “It felt, good. Comfortable and made me feel cool.” She admits sheepishly. “I also put blue streaks in my hair with the facepaint on as well.”
The bluehead then snickers warmly. “You really go the extra mile, don’t you?”
“I prefer to do things right.” Megan says confidently. “Especially cosplay.”
Grace warmly chuckles as she faces her honorary niece. “Is it cosplay if you’re wearing the actual suit?” She points out, getting a small chuckle back. “You got me there.”
“READY!” Cass yells from the bathroom, Victoria sitting upright; excited for what was happening. Then to everyone in the room’s shock; Cass comes out wearing the Momakase suit; even with the eye makeup and color streaks, which she quickly ran out of the bathroom to borrow from Honey Lemon before putting the suit on. “Well?” The café owner smiles as she does a small twirl. “How do I look?”
Victoria warmly chuckles. “Like a slightly shorter but cuddlier version of me with tame hair.” She says, making Cass feel flattered. Wonder how the mascots would react if they saw me in this. I hope they’re doing well holding up the fort back at the café with Bolton.
“She’s right, mom.” Megan says as she walks up to her with a warm smile. “You look good in that; and it’s less baggy on you than me.”
“Really?” Cass smirks in disbelief as she measures her height against her new honorary daughter’s; as Megan seemed taller than her. “Hmm, well I guess my body type fills it out differently.”
“And since it fit Honey Lemon, maybe it’ll fit Grace.” Victoria says warmly as she kisses her friend’s cheek, making her get a flattered smile. “Maybe some day.” Grace says softly.
Thursday December 15th 2033, 5:54am…
After watching the stars for a bit, Victoria went back into her room, holding her heart upon slight feelings of guilt rushing in. If I hadn’t helped Di, perhaps Karmi wouldn’t have had to leave she mentally sulks again. A while ago a bunch of her family members and Honey Lemon were outside, with Karmi on FaceTime; as that day would at some point mark 1 year since Di’s invasion of San Fransokyo; where Karmi’s parents had her move back in with them in LA after she got manipulated and mutated by Di Amara. Not only that, but Victoria’s niece Juniper suffered as well; being turned into a feral beast along with her mom.
After a quick tear, she heads to the dresser and pulls out the bag with her Momakase suit in it and pulls the suit and boots out; holding them up as she furiously cried at them. Karmi, Juniper, Barb and everyone else forgave Victoria for her time as Momakase, but times like this made it sink in somehow even further of how far she had gone all for a good decision her father made to protect her and her family. She knew she couldn’t rip it apart as the SFPD probaly wanted it back as evidence, although the police might not blame her if she did. As she clenches the suit in her hands, she decides it’s time to check on Trina; so she walks over to her comatose daughter and gives her a kiss on the forehead. “Hi Trina.” She says softly as she sits on the floor by the air mattress with her legs crossed.
“Today’s a bad time for me because it’s been a year since I finished helping that mad woman.” She sulks softly as she clenches her suit and boots in her hands. “I’d rip this outfit if the cops didn’t want their evidence back.” She warmly chuckles. “So, could you please hold on to it for me?” She says as she grabs the bag back and stuffs her clothes in it; setting the full bag by her daughter’s right hand. “I know you won’t lose it.” She says warmly before hugging Trina once more. “I love you, Trina.” She says lovingly as she heads back into bed with Grace; hoping to talk to her daughter about today very soon.
Friday December 16th 2033, 11:14pm…
After Trina woke up and was cured from her coma to combat Kang’s accidental virus thanks to Baymax, and after she was smothered by her all family members present, it was bedtime. Everyone had gotten to their beds, with Grace reading a book as she and Trina waited for Victoria to come; as all three wanted Trina to share the bed as a family thing/so everyone felt safe and assured after spending one week without her. “I’m back.” Victoria smiles as she heads to her side of the bed. “Now then, let-“ She pauses when she sees Trina holding the Momakase suit in her hands, looking at it with warm eyes before hugging it. “You really like it, don’t you?” Her mom asks as she gets in bed with her and Grace.
The robot teen nods with closed eyes. “I know this suit brings back bad memories, but to me; it reminds me of the good parts of my early life.” She says in a low, soft tone. “It reminds me that you were my mother even then, and it makes me feel safe.” She gushes with a warm smile. “It’s sorta like a safety blanket I guess, and it helps that you’ve hugged me in this a few times.”
Victoria warmly smiles, tearing up a bit at her daughter’s kind words. Her heart then tingles when she gets an idea. “Hey, Trina. When you’re older and bigger, would you like to keep the suit? Or at least a copy of it depending on what the SFPD says.” She asks softly and lovingly. “Yes!” Her daughter’s blue eyes then light up with glee as she pulls her mom into a loving hug. “Thank you thank you thank you!” She gushes, moving Victoria to plant a loving kiss on her forehead. Grace was touched to see such a touching moment between her family members.
Back in San Fransokyo at the SFPD, Sunday January 1st 2034, 10:19am…
Victoria and Trina tap the reception desk anxiously as they await news. Sergeant Gearson then gets in his swivel chair and rolls over to them and reads his clipboard. “Alright, while the legal stuff involving your family heirloom swords and your graphene kitchen knives are still in the air; mostly because of that balooga Kang.” He notes in somewhat of a Boston/Jersey accent. “But, the SFPD did accept your other claim.” The officer says formally as he pulls out a box from under his desk and puts it on the counter. “We will keep one suit, however the primary suit and the rest of your backups are now in your possession.”
Victoria gets a warm, toothy smile while her daughter squeals and hugs her as she jumps up and down. “Thank you, Sergeant Gearson.” The bluehead says warmly as she grabs the box and does a small bow. “Have a good day.” Trina nods to her farewell as the two leave, making the usually bored officer smile. “Good for them reforming.”
Back in Victoria’s room, Wednesday January 4th 2034, 7:58pm…
“And, here it is.” Victoria smiles warmly as she points to her jumpsuit in the closet; showing her formally long lost/S.H.I.E.L.D agent maternal aunt/honorary sister Yuriko Sato. “Trina’s going to get it when she gets older, as it’s really sentimental to her.”
Yuriko holds one of the sleeves in her hand and lets out a weak chuckle. “That’s sweet, Tori.” She warmly smiles. “If I may ask, where’d you get the materials for this anyway?”
“Well, I basically dressed like a chef/ninja on a budget before.” Her sister notes. “After a few jobs I got the funds to upgrade to Kevlar and microfibers via criminal underworld sewists and seamstresses via a custom order.”
“Ah.” The topaz eyed woman clicks her tongue. “You know, it wasn’t only Momakase that made this suit uneasy on my eyes.” She shares softly, feeling that she could finally find comfort in her little sister again. “It not only reminded me of when I failed you that time, but the first time you donned that suit.”
Victoria’s heart then starts hurting, not wanting to see her sister sad again. “Ri…” She tries assuring her softly.
“The first time I failed you on that scale was almost 30 years ago.” Yuriko sulks in a low tone. “Especially Rebecca; she could’ve died that night. She was barely 17 and she could’ve died or gotten paralyzed; cuz I made a final vote decision that Camila could be reasoned with, especially after she had roughed me up the day before.”
“Ri, you couldn’t have known.” Her sister tries assuring her lovingly. “In case you’re forgetting, you only agreed to it because I put it forward. It took a long time but I finally forgave myself for it, and before we lost contact you did as well.”
Yuriko then cracks a warm smile, feeling a bit giddy. “You did always know how to stop me from spiralling.” She warmly gushes as she pats her sister’s shoulder. “And I can’t wait for Mikan to see what a good job you’ve done raising Trina and taking care of this little family of yours.”
Her warm words make Victoria’s heart both warm from how loving her sister’s words were, and excited to see the rest of their family again. “Thanks, sis.”
Over at the Kases’ and Satos’ Witness Protection Neighborhood in New York, Thursday July 18th 2013, 12:13am…
Victoria stands by the window of her parent’s house with Trina, with her newly adopted son David in his crib beside her on the couch, along with his biological mother/newly adoptive aunt Yuriko by him; haven fallen asleep due to the sadness of having to give him up to protect him from Camila’s gang. She had fallen asleep on her father Kenji’s shoulder, who stayed with his wife Kira to help their daughter during this rough period for her. That and her best friend, Viv or something; Victoria couldn’t remember, couldn’t make it due to being held up at S.H.I.E.L.D HQ; which made this situation even harder for Yuriko’s big, hurting heart.
She knew she was doing the right thing, but it hurt Victoria’s heart deeply to see her sister suffer on this level; which was as bad as when Trina almost lost her memories. Then, her mom Mikan walks up to her and puts a loving hand on both her daughter and granddaughter’s shoulders. “How are you holding up, Tori?” She asks softly.
“..Tomorrow we’re back in 2034, and there is irony in that around 20 years later I’ll technically still be feeling bad about this.” Victoria sulks in a low tone, moving her mom to plant a kiss on her cheek. “Tori, you are doing the right thing; it’ll just take a bit for that big, bleeding heart of yours to accept it.” She loving assures her with a small smile. “But remember, you’re making sure that a family isn’t torn apart.”
Her assuring words put a small smile on her daughter’s face. “Thanks, mom.” She says softly. “Hey Trina, why don’t you tell your grandmother about how we slacked on my suit.”
“I’d love to hear that.” Mikan says while warmly crossing her arms. Trina nods before getting a warm chuckle. “Alright.”
Back in the present in Tori’s room, Sunday January 8th 2034, 10:34pm…
“And this, David” Victoria says warmly as she shows her son, who was sleeping peacefully in her arms as she cradled him, her suit in the closet. “I may have done a lot of things I’m going to regret in it, but I did a few things right; like caring for and loving your sister Trina.” She warmly gushes before kissing David’s nose. “And it’s going to be your sister’s one day. Who knows, maybe when she prances around in it, the two of you can play, although whoever the hero or the villain is will be up to you two.”
Back at Clan Kase's household, Friday April 14th 2034, 8:01pm…
Karmiwas at Trina's as the two prepared to watch a movie on the couch; with Karmi able to be there since baby David was upstairs sound asleep. Karmi had made the popcorn (for herself as Trina can’t eat) and made herself and Trina vanilla milkshakes. “Hey Trina, do you know what today is?” Karmi warmly giggles as she stirs her milkshake with the straw.
“Not off hand, sorry.” Her robot friend says after a sip of her milkshake. Karmi then warmly smiles as she slides back on the couch; setting her milkshake on the coffee table on a coaster. “It’s been 2 years, from my point of view, since we met.” She gushes, the time travel memories flooding back for Trina. “Oh yeah!” The robot gushes as she sets her milkshake down and lays back with Karmi. “Well then, happy cotton friendiversary.” She says sweetly before kissing her friend’s cheek, making the biotech major blush with flattery. “You too.” Karmi says softly before giving her friend a kiss on the cheek back; both of them glad to have met each other that day.
At the Muirhara Woods camping cabin area, Sunday July 30th 2034, 3:09pm…
Victoria and Rebecca walk into the cabin to get some marshmallows to test out the campfire. As they walk to the kitchen; Rebecca taps her friend/honorary cousin’s shoulder and points to the couch; where Trina was napping while hugging the Momakase suit; which warmed Rebecca and Victoria’s hearts to see that the teen had fallen asleep peacefully; which after earlier that morning after getting a panic attack from Kang being at Clan Kase’s front door, was so warming and assuring to see. Rebecca was also gushing eternally from how sentimental her niece found Victoria’s old suit; seeing it as a token of comfort and love.
Back at Clan Kase’s house, Friday December 29th 2034, 11:36pm…
After grabbing a glass of water, Victoria comes back up the stairs and heads to her room; but stops upon noticing that Sirque and Cobra (now going by Celine and Amy again) accidentally left their door open a bit. When she goes to close it, she sees Cobra spooning Celine as they slept, with the curly haired woman cuddling her pale friend. Victoria can’t help but smile gush from how cute they looked as she closed the door. After entering back into her room and setting her water glass on her dresser, she decides to go to her closet and open it quietly; looking at her Momakase suit before letting out a warm chuckle. “Goodbye Camila.” She says before closing her closet; accepting that Camila’s hold on her life had fully passed now that Cobra had reformed.
Downstairs in the living room, Wednesday March 7th 2035, 8:22pm…
On the couch, Antonia was nuzzling her head against her mum’s heart; so happy to think of her adoptive mother Victoria like that. “Mum, does Trina ever wear the Momakase suit around?” She wonders, getting a warm chuckle from Victoria as she ruffles her youngest daughter’s hair. “No, not yet at least. Maybe we can see how it fits right now soon, but we believe it’s better for her to wear it regularly after she gets taller.”
“The heels too?” The Russian wonders, getting a warm shrug from her mum. “Yeah, but considering she rarely wears 1 inch heels it’ll take her a while.” The bluehead points out before giving her daughter a loving kiss on her scalp. “Now then, I believe it’s time for your pain medication. Come on, let’s go get you the pills and your water.” She says as she picks up Antonia; who is loving it, and carries her to the kitchen as the brunette loving nuzzles her head against her mum’s.
Over at The Hub (NY) Medical Bay, Thursday May 3rd 2035, 1:09pm…
“And this,” Trina says as she pulls out her mom’s suit and boots from her backpack and hands them to her recovering cousin Natasha. “Is my mom’s Momakase suit.” She smiles warmly. “It’s basically my security blanket, and it’ll be mine one day; with Antonia getting one of the spares when she’s all grown up.”
Natasha whistles as she looks at it. “Wow, has you tricked Lena into wearing this, yet?” She snickered, getting a warm smile with a polite roll of the eyes from her sister. “Not yet, but I am vigilant.” Yelena states. “She won’t be tricking me into wearing that; especially with the 4-inch heels.”
“Dunno about Trina, but Antonia’s pretty crafty.” The redhead smirks. “I expect her to get you into this with the makeup and hair dye by July.”
“They’d have to catch me first.” Yelena rebuts, making Natasha snicker and snort with Antonia and Trina.
“Considering Kang wears THAT, I’m pretty sure it’s arrangeable.” Antonia cackles, making the laughter last longer and moving Yelena to join in. Meanwhile in the chairs, Victoria, Grace, Sirque Celine, Cobra Amy, Yuriko, and Victoria H. were so warmed to see their kids spending some time together and showing each other love; excited for what the future held for their relationship.
Back in present day at Clan Kase’s household, Wednesday June 13th 2035, 6:09pm…
Tori opens her closet and takes out her suit on its hanger; warmly chuckling as she remembered some of the good times she had with it; namely Trina and the times the robot teen gushed lovingly about it. That’s when a good idea hits her, one that she had sorta done in February of 2006 with Rebecca.
At the dinner table the next morning, Thursday June 14th 2035, 7:56am…
Trina drank her chocolate milk with a tingly heart, as today was the last day of school; the last day of her first year at SFIT. “Congrats, Trin.” Antonia gushes before continuing her waffles.
“Thanks, Toni.” Her robot sister smiles warmly. “I’m proud of myself for getting this far.”
“And you should be.” Grace gushes as she drinks her coffee. “You worked hard.”
Celine nods. “And, you’ll continue on the road to be the first robot with not only a GED, but a college degree. Well a real robot, not those things people call A.I for some reason- like, the term really got the demeaning ‘meaning changes with time’ treatment.”
Her mini rant makes her niece snicker warmly. “True, and yeah; it will be a milestone in more ways than one.”
When Yelena walks over on her way to get a refill for her chocolate milk, she stops to give her sister a loving kiss on the cheek. “Good job, sis.” She smiles as she heads to the fridge, Trina smiling from the affection. “Thanks Lena, and everyone for helping me one way or the other.” She gushes.
As Amy puts another waffle on her plate, Tori comes back downstairs with something behind her back; accompanied by a loving smile on her face. “Breakfast is great, love.” The curly haired amputee compliments her. “Thanks, Ames.” The bluehead says as she walks up to Trina and hands her and Antonia pink giftwrapped boxes with medium periwinkle bows. “Toni, please don’t open yours until Trina does, sweetie.” Tori asks sweetly, her youngest daughter nodding and saying “Ok.”
“It’s a graduation gift, and I think you’ll love it.” Tori tells Trina, making the robot teen more excited to open it as she ripped the wrapping paper off. She then takes the lid off the white cardboard box; her heart tingling with surprise and warm happiness as she gazed upon it and pulled it out to get a better look. “I thought you finishing your first year of college was more than a fitting time for you to get this.” Her mom says softly. “You’ll have to stuff part of the legs into the boots, but it should fit fine until you fully grow into it.”
Trina then starts crying happy tears before setting the suit on her lap and hugging her mom. “Thank you mom, I love it so much.” She warmly smiles, making Tori’s heart warmer as she returned the hug. “You’re welcome, koibito (sweetheart). Toni dear, you can open yours now too.”
The Russian then quickly opens her gift, a big smile growing on her face as she lifted the lid and pulls out her gift. “I asked Honey Lemon to tailor one of my other spares, so you could get some practice in before you get big enough for a normal one.” Her mom says warmly. “I also added in one a scarf-hoodie since you mentioned how cool you and Ava thought they were.”
Antonia pulls out said hoodie-scarf, which was in black to match the dark blue-black color scheme. Beneath it were black horse rider boots with silver side buckles, which she held in awe. “You’re too young for high heels, so this was the next best thing.” Tori explains warmly, with her daughter crying happy tears as she set her gift on the chair and hugged her mom; lovingly joining the hug with her sister Trina. “Thank you thank you thank you!” She gushes as her mom gives both her and Trina loving kisses on their foreheads. “You’re welcome, Toni; both of you are.” She says as the rest of their family melts from the loving moment the three were sharing. “Before, that suit just brought to mind the worst things I ever did, but now; it reminds me of how far I’ve come in the past two years, and of how much love I have in my life. I’m proud to be a member of Clan Kase, and to be your mother you four.”
Yelena and David start internally gushing back as well. “That was sweet, Tori.” Grace smiles, getting a warm chuckle from her best friend. “Thanks, Grace. I didn’t think this day could get more heartwarming, but once again; life has surprised me.”
