Summary
Yelena and the Thunderbolts stumble upon Kate Bishop during a routine mission. Which is pretty weird because she's been missing and presumed dead for three years.
When Kate wakes up unable to recall anything from when she was missing and able to speak a new language, the Thunderbolts agree someone needs to figure out what happened to her. And it might as well be them.

Excerpt from Chapter 1:
There’s almost nothing to find. Nothing about why they’re a prisoner, why they’re here, or where they’ve been. She can tell that the person has been tortured in the few days they’ve been here, the file cataloguing twice daily ‘appointments’ with Hydra’s ‘medical researchers.’ None of the appointments have notes aside from the last two. Last night’s entry says the prisoner asked for food. And the entry from 2 hours ago has one ominous statement that causes Yelena to shiver.
All it says is Compliance Established.
She is abruptly distracted from the file when Ava cries “Oh, shit! I’ve got eyes on the prisoner.” Her words are thick with horror. “I don’t think they’re alive anymore.”
