Summary
The Autobot–Decepticon war had already taken lives, worlds, and futures. But when the Autobots discover the existence of a secret Seeker sparkling—sparkling of Starscream with Skywarp and Thundercracker—they decide she would be “safer” under their care. In one swift, righteous raid, they take her.
In other words: The Autobots always claimed the moral high ground—liberators, protectors, guardians of the innocent but in reality they only see themselfs as those "guardians of hope".
