Phainon frowns. Kephale? That name tickles something, but he doesn’t know what. It feels weird, like that pudding that got him sick last month.

Visions burn behind his eyelids ever since, and the fire roars forever more in the canvas of a picture. Mydei used to quench the fire, for a while, but he never understood what art truly means for Phainon. So why, fifteen years later, does Phainon find Mydei stand there, staring up at a painting of burning gold? -

What. The. Fuck. I don't know what I have read.
It was equal part beautiful and tragically depressing, but I don't think I understood the story.. It's alright I guess... Sometimes you just have to enjoy the journey
