Summary
Joffrey changes his family's plans and marries Sansa himself. Marriage threatens only the established peace in Westeros. Those who have sworn friendship turn out to be enemies, and sworn enemies turn out to be allies. And at the same time, a dragon's roar is heard in the air far to the East.

Dorna mourned her sons who had died in the war with the Starks, but she did not take her grief out on Sansa. On the contrary, she sympathized with her, expressing her condolences when Sansa revealed that the Greyjoys had killed her youngest brothers. Dorna took her to the castle sept, where they prayed to the Stranger. She told her that it was nonsense to avoid it. Death was everywhere: old people and children died, rich and poor. It was foolish not to pray to the Stranger because you were afraid of it. Dorna was gentle and kind, and she never paid any attention to Sansa when she was crying, just took her arm and led her to her chambers to drink some herbal tea. As if by chance, Dorna always left a few extra cakes for her and added a spoonful of honey to her tea. Sansa pretended not to notice. It felt like she was back in her childhood, where Catelyn spoiled her little lady Sansa.
Ch 23At times like this, Sansa prayed to the gods that he wouldn't cry. She didn't want her children to cry. At least not because of Joffrey's departure. Robert's longing for him seemed to add fuel to the fire of dislike for the king. For the fact that he dared to try to become what can be called a good parent, for the fact that now his son misses him.
Sansa had been having headaches since Joffrey left for the North. A sense of uncertainty plagued her. Even in the fickleness of the king's character, there was stability. Even his abrupt desire to hang a couple of indebted merchants from the guild seemed to be happening on schedule, and now the castle had lost his loud demanding voice, the doors to her chambers had never opened, and no one was now trying to explain to Robert what was the difference between Sunfyre and Syrax.
