Work Text:
James stood in the subway one night, August 1st. He was in New York for school, leaving the comfort of his home back in England. He sighed as he glanced around the area, it was quite empty, except for a few people most likely coming home from a work shift, dozing off, tired eyes, and dark circles. It was all the same until he saw a boy, shorter than him with black hair and grey eyes, too gorgeous for New York, better off in some fancy modeling company in Greece, he was standing near. Soon they made eye contact, and God James' knees almost buckled right then and there. He smiled a little and waved, but the boy just nodded and looked away, ignoring him once again. James' smiled faded into a slight frown, how could the hot man ignore him? Soon the subway stopped and everyone piled out. Even though there was barely anyone on, he couldn't find the black haired boy. James groaned and just accepted that he'd probably never see him again. After getting out the station he went and got dinner, then went home to his apartment. Even as he laid down, tired eyes rested, the thoughts of the boy continued to plague his mind and dreams, leaving him hoping and wondering if he'd ever see him again. Unlikely due to the size of new York and the subway. But as he shut his eyes, a pair of cold grey stared back.
