“Hmm?” Volo tilts his head to the side. Tuli sighs, because she knows exactly what that dumb, high pitched humming sound means. “Someone new..? Well, I never!” He grins. “Why didn't I know about this!”
Tuli doesn't actually catch any anger or anything in his voice, he's just using the expression as an excuse to say something to express his excitement towards the new recruit.
“Well,” Tuli snorts, shrugging at him. “When you leave for days at a time, and nobody can get a hold of you, you miss things! Who knew.” She snickers a little bit as he looks sheepish.
