Summary
Nick’s team is next.
The crowd cheers as the footballers throw the ball into the crowd before one of them starts reaching up to receive it. There’s a bout of laughter when whoever caught it in the crowd throws it too far and someone on the other side of the parade catches it. The footballer sends a playful glare that makes Charlie snigger and runs off to receive it from the other person. By the time the footballer gets his ball back, Charlie sees the too-familiar logo of Nick’s team and his smile threatens to split his face in half.
