Summary
My inspiration was the following question: What would happen if Henry and Catherine had had a living son in 1525 ?
As we all know, that did not happen. As we also all know, most of the real life characters of this story end up unhappy and/or dead. I wanted to write a kind of "fix-it" where everyone gets a much nicer life. And yes, for that the characters need to act vastly different then the real-life people have. This will be, at least sometimes, historically inaccurate. But thats the beauty of fanfiction, isnt it ?
We will have drama, tenderness, tears, a very cute Mary as a child and many many hugs between Henry and Charles, one of the most famous friendships of the english court. Because, quite frankly, they need it. There will be a few sences which are not suitable for everyone or might disturb someone, but, if its necessary, I will put additional warnings before every chapter. The story is already finished, so you will definitly get to see the end. I will update as regular as possible.
