The Trouble with Drabbles

Summary:

Just a drabble collection about various situations in the Trek Universe.

Notes:

Instead of putting pressure on myself to write a long plot driven fic for one of my milestones fics. I decided to just have some fun writing drabbles. Also using this as an excuse to practice writing these characters. I am heavily considering doing more than just Voyager drabbles. But we'll see where my muse goes.

If I take any requests for this or any other fandom, I'm doing this in (you're most likely a friend or lucky) and expect short ficlets or drabbles. Will update tags as I go. Hope y'all have as much fun reading these as I'm having in writing them.

Chapter 1: Harry/Tom [VOY]

Chapter Text

Their lips were smashing together with such desperation. Tom's hands were curved around both of Harry's cheeks. He was guiding them across the floor of the mess in the late evening of the night. Both of them held fast to each other, though as soon as Harry's back went slamming into the wall, he gripped tighter to the back of Tom's uniform. Blunt nails were digging in and spurring Tom all the more. His head had tilted to the side, open mouth on Harry's, to presumably deepen their connection. Tom had moved his body closer to Harry's, the space separating them was now non-existent.

At least, Seven could no longer see the area that had kept them apart. She straightened in her chair, both men focused on each other, as hands trailed down bodies and into hair. Seven tapped on the datapadd in front of her, her current investigations with the kissing men not deterring her from the work she had started doing in the silence of the empty mess. She was curious, however, and her voice broke the quiet. "Is this the conventional way humans progress into copulation?"

A spluttering noise was Seven's immediate response, and she watched blankly as Harry pushed Tom off of him and his face tinted a hue of red. "S-Seven?! What are you doing here?"

"Observing." She deadpanned.

Harry's eyes had gone impossibly wide. He couldn't shake them off of her. "Oh god."

"Harry." Tom's tone was placating.

Harry's attention shifted back to Tom. "Oh my god."

Peculiarly, Seven watched the ensign shove Tom away and make a hasty exit. Tom had turned to her in frustration. "The mood is completely ruined. You couldn't have just stayed quiet or left, Seven?" Turning on his heel, "Come on, Harry. Wait up." Tom, too, had trailed after Harry, trying to chase him down, which Seven also found surprising.

Tilting her head in thought, she responded to herself more than anyone else. "I'll keep that in mind for future relations."
