Summary
Conner Luthor-Kent never wanted to be at yet another stuffy charity gala—especially not one dragged out by Lex Luthor in the middle of Gotham. He’s counting the minutes until he can leave... until he notices him: Danny Fenton, standing across the room, looking just as annoyed and out of place as Conner feels. As Conner stares at the teen, the boy looks at him and makes his way over. Before either of them knows it, they’re talking like they’ve known each other for years.
Danny Fenton has been practically living with his godfather Vlad ever since he came out as gay to his parents and they started actively ignoring him. That arrangement comes with a price however: being dragged to galas all over the country. While throwing half-hearted glares at Vlad, he notices a broad-shouldered teen watching him from across the room. Curious, Danny makes his way over... and suddenly, what started as a boring night becomes something entirely unexpected.
