Dionysios Trevelyan wakes up with a glowing hand that emanates unknown magic, and suddenly becomes one of the leaders of a fledgling military organisation. For the most part of his life Dionysios was locked up in the Ostwick Circle of Magi, and after that he went to the Conclave to help the mages' cause. He barely saw the world before the explosion, and now he has to navigate it in the most improbable situations. This is the story of Dionysios Trevelyan and Dorian Pavus falling in love, while adventuring across Thedas and trying to make the world a better place.
