Music: Yes, We Have No Bananas, performed by Louis Prima & His Orchestra

Sound effects: typewriter, paper shuffling, and ticking clock sfx downloaded for free from pixabay

Notes:

whetherwoman, I know the headaches you encounter are nothing so murderous as this, but it still seemed a fitting way to commemorate the long awaited Yotening. Yeetening? Whatever. You generally deserve gifts, so I made you one ❤️

Candy this is ridiculous and I love it and also you, obvs.

A note on the music! "Yes, We Have No Bananas" was in fact a very popular song in 1924, though more in the United States than in England. It very much fits my approximate-time-period-plus-vibes calculation, and I liked the gleeful ridiculousness and air of benign obstruction, the "what-can-you-do?"ness of it. And now it may be stuck in your head forever, whee!

Also, I did check: typewriters were in widespread use in offices by 1924. I used a different typewriter sfx for Kim than for Bill and Will, because in my head, Bill is doing all of this at the office because he doesn't bring work home and also he's there all the time anwyay, and Will doesn't have a typewriter at home. He makes appearances at the PB offices to deposit reports, sit for briefings, and respond to increasingly frustrated memos from his higher-ups. Kim, the wealthy sod, has a typewriter at home that's slightly less clacky than the ones at the office. Also, he's more of a hunt-and-peck typist than he'd like to admit, so his keystrokes are slower.
