Peter didn’t mind it when May told him she was going on a date. He was happy for her, really happy. She deserved to be happy. He wanted her to be happy again.
Peter didn’t mind it when she started going out multiple nights a week, even though it meant he barely saw her anymore. She was really happy, he could tell. He wanted that for her, she deserved it.
Besides, he would patrol a few nights anyway, so he arranged to patrol those nights so he could spend time with her when she was home. They worked out a system, things were fine.
And Peter didn’t mind when a few weeks later, May said she wanted to introduce Peter to the man she was dating.
It was when he came over that Peter started to mind.
