Bucky holds an arm out, fingers reaching and grasping at the air between them. Percy slides into his hold like he was molded into it, poured while golden and molten to temper against Bucky’s icy steel. His free hand reaches up and he brushes a finger against the soft skin of Percy’s cheek, constellations of freckles and the smallest nick of a scar. Percy leans his face into Bucky’s palm, presses his lips to the meat of his thumb. Lightning sparks over the distant sea as Percy smiles against Bucky’s skin.
