Summary
[In the wake of the Peace End, Tangent grapples with her loss of purpose—and with the alien that’s moved into her colony.]
Symbiosis holds out a vial containing— Is that a pale violet finger? No. That’s absurd. Tangent isn’t a child, clutching at Occam’s Razor in the hopes of cutting her way to the most obvious, infantile conclusion. He’s brought her a sample of a—a new edible root, or a fungus or something. Another instance of appalling biomimicry from the lawless flux of the Vertumnan wild.
“What is it?” she asks warily.

Description:A series of character studies from one of Solane's many lives, in which they’ve managed to retain fairly coherent memories of their other lives. Each story works as a standalone, but they do occupy the same timeline! Featuring a very high-social/high-physical nonbinary Sol.
Ships aren’t the main focus (though they are often my framing device of choice) — but you can expect mentions of Sol/Sym/Dys, casual Tang/Marz, QPR Rex/Nomi, Cal/Tammy, plenty of Dys & Tang twins-chats because I'm crazy about their dynamic, annnd…. *feasibly* Vace/Nem? Though I’ll need to max his friendship before I feel qualified to write him.
