Summary
Sam doesn’t know what he was expecting. He finishes cleaning himself off. He doesn’t have any clean clothes, so he has to wear a towel on the walk back to his room. He shouldn’t have said anything, he thinks as he shuffles down the empty halls of the bunker, shivering and damp, having to brace himself against the walls to stay upright.
At least then, Dean wouldn’t have left. He would’ve been cared for for the rest of the night, wouldn’t be alone and cold. Sam laughs to himself. Stay warm and cared for and helpless under Dean’s suffocating love or stand on his own two feet, alone. His entire life has been marked by his inability to choose.
Or Sam attempts to fix things between him and Dean.
