Summary
She was a dragon. A Targaryen.
She died in fire and blood—and now she was reborn.
Rhaenyra felt like she lived many years since waking up.
She had seen so much in her dreams that she truly felt older than her 15 years.
But she had received and understood the warning of the Valyrian Gods.
They had shown her the fall of their House, shown her the role she played in it. Her failures.
So Rhaenyra will do all she can to prevent it.
And the Fourteen Flames gave her the weapons she needed to do it. -

O Sacred Flames of Valyria, keepers of the blood, breath of dragons and fathers of fire—
I come before you not in meekness, but in the truth of my birth. I am Rhaenyra, daughter of the line you forged in heat and shadow, heir to flame and wing. I speak not as a beggar, but as your own—born of the storm, rider of Syrax, flesh of your fire. Hear me now, for the air is thick with treason and the green tide rises.I ask you: let no child of mine enemy bear the mark of our house. Let Alicent Hightower's womb be closed to the flame. Let no dragon answer her blood, no fire quicken her seed. She walks wrapped in piety but speaks with the tongue of ambition. She clutches the king with cold hands, yet dares dream of birthing heirs to the fire. I say no. Let her line be dust and silence.
Let the blood of Old Valyria remain untainted. Let your will burn away the false, the undeserving, the cunning draped in silk. Keep the flame pure, as it was in the days of Balerion and Vhagar. Let only those chosen by fire rise. In your name, I speak this. In your name, so let it be done.

Ch 27
Daemon/Rhaenyra
Basically the TV show is Rhaenyra's dragon dream, and she wakes up just after Aemma's funeral with all the knowledge and does better. If you are not a Hightower fan (which I am not), the handling of Alicent is *chef's kiss*. Can't wait for her and Daemon to marry. The author has health issues, so this may be abandoned, but I am wishing the author well and if they do ever choose to return to this, I'd be delighted. -
