“I have plenty of people,” Peter says, glancing away.
There’s a small pause, and then Bucky states, “That was a lie.”
“No it wasn’t!” Peter protests. “I have allies, and stuff. There are plenty of people I planned on calling before Actual Captain America.”
From over where he’s washing his hands, Captain America huffs with amusement, then poorly tries to hide it with a cough.
“That was another lie,” Bucky says, sounding unfairly concerned. “Kid, you know how worrying this is?”
