"I know what my son did to you, he forced a bond."
Those were her first words to him while Benson was at the supermarket buying something to eat. As soon as they had both entered, the first thing he had noticed was the gloominess of the place, and after a brief greeting, he also noticed that the hostility of this woman was greater than her son's efforts to create a pleasant atmosphere.
"Mrs. Walker—" Randy began, but he was interrupted.
“You don't love him and I understand, Benson is...hard to love”
